Have only had it for one week but so far so good. Happy with the quality for the price. If there were separate review for assembly, I’d give the assembly instructions a 3.5/5. It says you don’t need power tools but some of the pieces didn’t line up exactly so it would have been impossible to assemble by myself and it probably wouldn’t have worked without the use of power tools.

Really happy with this basketball hoop overall. It’s sturdy and adjusts easily, which is great for kids. Assembly took a little longer than expected, but once it was up, it’s held up well and gets used constantly. Solid purchase.

It is sturdy and attractive, which was important to me. I mainly bought it to help entertain an 8- and 10-year-old when they visit my house. It is perfect for them, and I will be found guilty tossing the ball around myself. It took me and another adult approximately four hours to build. We built it in the summer heat with a new puppy nipping at our toes and stealing all our nuts and bolts. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

I read lots of reviews before deciding on this one. I have now owned for one year and have had zero issues. Excellent quality. Kids from 8 years to adults use this often. We have this one the shortest setting and it is still pretty tall and good for adults to play with the kids without being to easy for the adults. Honestly I thought the shortest setting was going to be to high for kids but it is not. It's perfect. I filled the base with water and did not drain before winter and had zero issues this spring. Put together time was a few hours for me and my adult son. I can see this basketball hoop lasting many years.

This is a decent basketball goal. It's easy to install. The only complaint is that the post is slanted backwards. Due to how it is built (the post snaps in place on the base) there is no way to fix that without altering how it was manufactured. Overall it is decent for a portable hoop.

Everything about this is good. I will note however it took two adults 2.5 hrs to put together, And the backboard is dead without much bounce. Good deal tho.

Assembling this was awful. The directions are just ok. It requires a torque wrench set, preferably electric. It’s not possible to do with regular hand tools. It also requires 2 people. It took 3 hours to assemble. Looks good and my son loves it. 3.5 stars.

Very difficult to assemble, but works as it should. We found the instructions to be lacking in explanation when assembling the basketball goal. Now that it is up, it works and seems very sturdy. So I knocked off two stars for assembly because I’d give those instructions 1 star.

The smaller bottom axle was missing. I tried to contact customer service by phone and chat, but I waited for an hour and did not receive any response. I also left my phone number, but nobody got back to me. After installing the poles, it is difficult to return the product because the poles are hard to detach. The quality of the product also seems cheap. How can a product be sold nationally through Walmart without reliable customer service support? There were only two people ahead of me in the chat queue, yet after waiting for an hour, I still could not reach a customer service representative to request that simple part.

I checked all the parts before assembling and right when I was about to install the backboard, I didnt realize it was completely warped! It would have been a good product to have but I had to return it. Walmart.com did not have more in stock and I couldnt ask for a replacement. I tried contacting Lifetime for a replacement but they didnt respond to any of my emails, voicemails, or website messages.
