LiftMaster 878MAX Garage Door Keypad Wireless and Keyless Entry System for Easy Entry

I received a dud. Very frustrating. This LiftMaster 878 Max wouldn't even light up the keyboard after attaching it to the wall so that so I could program it. I changed out the original battery for a brand new energizer. Still nothing worked at the simplest level of getting energy from the battery to the keys and their lights. Turned out to be a waste of time now I have to return it go searching for something else. I feel like they sent me a product that had already been dysfunctional and returned.

Keypad will work however it will not operate if the security button is pressed and the light is blinking in your inside push button. It will operate like any remote transmitter car or portable that will not work while the inside security button is engaged. Liftmaster OEM keypad will function whether the security button is engaged or not.

The product description is not accurate. It only works on openers manufactured from 1993 until 2021 that have a purple, red, orange, green or yellow LEARN button. Anything manufactured after 2021 and/or has a white LEARN button needs a different keypad, which I decided to purchase directly from the manufacturer. Since I already threw out the box and receipt before trying to install the unit, I cannot return the 878MAX for a refund. I'll just kiss that money goodbye.

This turned out to be a bad deal. Talked to manufacturer and they said 100% defective. Went back to Walmart and they can't do anything, sent me to seller. Seller can't do anything and sent me to Walmart. I am left holding the bag and still needing to purchase it again. Guess what, not from Walmart. Beware of what fulfilled by Walmart means.

I only received one of the garage door openers. I can not find the chat box anywhere. Also can not find phone number to call someone about the issue. Using the Walmart website is cumbersome and confusing.

Had an old LiftMaster opener but after 20 years gave out. New one installed so easily and once programmed with the garage opener works great. Excellent price too compared to other site for same product.

This is exactly what I was looking for to replace my 20 year old garage door pad. This was easy to install and fit perfectly where I removed the old one. Simple to connect to my garage door code.

This was the original replacement that we needed and Walmart had it in stock at a more affordable price. I can always find what I need at Walmart!
