This unit is being sold for 1/2 what the other online folks are selling it for. Be careful about which unit you want to match this to. I am using it for a LM sliding gate controller which has a special method to program it. If using this unit for a typical LM or Chamberlin overhead garage door opener and the "Learn" button is yellow it is a snap. If you have a LM home gate, do not buy the universal units. They do NOT work with LM gates.
Replacement was simple and straight forward. It would have been better if instructions to set a temporary pin were printed on the sticker inside the flap - however it's in the manual
Too soon to give this four stars as I just installed and don't know how long it will last. I like the keypad's Enter button. My previous keypad lacked one. BE ADVISED: If you use Method B to program your keypad, step #6 is WRONG. It says to “press and release the Enter button until the [lift's] lights flash…” instead, you must press and HOLD the Enter button.
I have a liftmaster garage door opener and keypad. The keypad stopped working. This is a newer model compared to the current one. I prefer using lift master so it would be compatible. Unfortunately, it took an hour to get it to program. I followed the instructions to the T. I watched videos and it was the same as I was doing. Finally, it synced with the opener. My old one - used to push ENTER to close the garage door. This one makes me key in the code in order to close. I dont know if this is a glitch with the product I received.
It works but appears to be copy of Liftmaster keypad. The instructions provided on the inside cover were incorrect. I had to pay a garage door installer to get it to work.
My item that came is counterfeit
I was sent a previously used item, clearly labeled as returned and re-stocked, with parts missing, instead of the new product I ordered.
the new products look great but they don't connect to the opener - the learn button is not so receptive and the website and other trouble shooting opportunities very limited once that happens - almost as if Liftmaster wants you to go to a professional for even the simplest things as adding a remote control
This is not a genuine LiftMaster keypad, but rather a fake knockoff. Certain features like one button close will not work with certain opener models. Do not waste your money on this scam.
This is a fake liftmaster product. The one touch feature didn't work so I bought one directly from liftmaster and the real product is different. DO NOT PURCHASE
