Been wanting to try something to get moss out of lawn and flower beds. This worked great. Turned it black and grass a darker green. I wanted to put all over lawn but ran out. Finally found more. You do need to put on a bit heavier than regular fertilizer but it works! With all the shady areas the moss just gets out of control and looks gross. I might try the spray for the brick walls and driveway next. Love this stuff but hope the price goes down soon.
Can't rate the product yet, as I need to wait for change in weather before applying product to my lawn to **** the moss. Prior products from Lilly Miller have been good.
We live in the PNW and get a lot of moss in our yard over fall and winter. We use this every spring. It is easy to use, and we usually follow up with dethatching, aerating, weed and feed, and this year we put down soil and grass seed. Highly recommend to kill moss in your lawn!
Much higher percentage of active ingredients than Scots and others (ferrous sulfate), and the price is more reasonable.
The Moss Killer works ok, it takes about a week plus to start seeing results and requires a second application to do a decent job. I can't see how this would cover 5000 sq ft, more like 2000 if you want the moss gone. The PNW moss can be think after a winter of rain.
The worst part about this product is that it destroyed my concrete walkway and patio, the iron content permanently stained my concrete. I had used a garden spreader to dispense on the lawn but the couple granules that hit across the sidewalk left orange permanent streaks and now I am spending hundreds of dollars to try to remove the stains safely!
The Moss out is fine. The problem is that the box left on my front stoop was damages and the product leaked out on my stoop and also lots in the box. Bag was torn and leaking product. I feel I should get a refund or replace the Moss Out. The shipper had to know because of it out and on my front stoop.
Could only give it 1 star because Fed Ex failed to deliver this item not once but twice. So, for weeks now, I have been trying to obtain this product to try it out but Walmart thru Fed Ex seems to lack the ability to deliver this item. Now I am running out of time to try the product since early spring is the ideal time for the product's use.
I did read and followed the directions. it wasn't clear on settings for my Scott's spreader? so I set it on low, and it didn't cover cover one half of my backyard. I waited and waited. it seemed like nothing died , so my opinion is my MONEY WAS WASTED! I tried to contact them by phone and sent an email! Seems to me they DON'T CARE! But they received my money!
It cost to much to recommend because shipping box was too light weight made and it was broken up and 1 fertilizer bag was broken open and lost 2 lb of fertilizer. The box was in bad shape when it was delivered to my house.
