The app makes the this difference on these. For pairing with their other smart bulbs and whats really cool is setting the color or dimness with Alexa voice command on Firestick remote. I've installed these on the rear frame of 7 TV's so far. Everyone loves it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For starters, the very fact that you can download an app to work these lights should tell you how high quality they are. Installation was simple. After I installed them, I set it to sync with my music and it took on a pattern of its own. Whether you want it to control the mood, or if you want a static pattern, either is suitable. There are a lot of options with this light strip, which is way better than my current setup with a remote.

I have, however, downloaded the app and set it up and played with it. It's lots of fun, with tons of different settings and easy to control from your phone. So many patterns, brightness options and colors! You can even have it sync to music. My son is going to love it! I might even buy a second one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These were not my favorite. To compare we have much thinner ones that we used for my daughter’s entire room. They were flexible and I could go around her desk and up her latter etc. these too compare seem more durable if they get hit or bumped, but they are also super thick. They can’t bend or curve. You pretty much need to go in a straight line. You also can’t add on to them and there wasn’t even enough to go around a bathroom. In the end we couldn’t use them and they looked silly bc of how thick and noticeable they are.
