I had a C section, so changing my baby was easier on me since I didn't have to bend over. I originally bought it for the bath, but the changing table is a added bonus. The bath works for our son, but you will have to buy a baby bath for newborns to go inside the bath tub. The thermometer is very helpful but be sure you know about Celsius. Also, be mindful of the drain with the tub. We had a few accidents with the water draining. Right now we bath him near the kitchen sink because my husband and I bath him. Once my son gets more comfortable with baths, I will likely bath him in the shower stall since we don't have a bathtub.
