My sink has been stopped up for far too long, longer than I want to say. I used this plastic stick for clogs idk what it's called, then poured the liquid down the drain. It has unclogged the drain. It smells bad, it steams, it broke down and kinda melted the material that was stuck in the drain, and bubble up what was stuck 🤮. So happy to find something that actually worked bc I didn't want to have to pay a Plummer.
After I tried "Professional Strength" drain cleaner, and my apartment maintenance guy then tried their drain cleaner...my tub was still filling up with water while showering (mid-calf height). I had used this stuff years ago, and really had to search it out - straight-up sulfuric acid - this stuff WORKS - eats/melts the hair clogs like magic (you can hear it sizzle when you pour it in the drain). Tub no longer fills up with water while showering !!! Definite THUMBS UP! (NOTE: It can burn you - be very careful with it - and I close/seal the drain after I put it inside to let it do its thing for about 15-30 minutes... use it VERY sparingly as it only takes a LITTLE (like an 1/8th of a cup). Too much and you will have caustic fumes consuming you bathroom, possibly your house!)
This is my go-to for a clogged toilet or drain. I will forewarn you that if it splashes on your clothing it will eat holes into them, so take your time and be careful when pouring it!
worked way better than expected. FYI do not flush with HOT WATER!! Read directions and flush with only COLD COLD WATER. Be patient and light some candles away from the drain cause it's gonna give off an odor
If the big brand name clog removers fail then this is what you need to remove the clog. This sulfuric acid based clog remover, or muriatic acid, is what pros use. Does the job clearing most clogs. Follow the directions to the word. Wear gloves if you want and pour directly and slowly into the drain avoiding spilling. It works well. Only use 1/2 bottle per usage. Comes in doubled up HD plastic bags. If 1/2 bottle works then tighten cap well and place back into the doubled plastic bag. Store it someplace where it won't tip over preferably in a cool dry place. Acid doesn't like heat or very damp places.
We had a slow draining of the bathroom sink and shower with a smell that was hard to cover with air freshener. The clog was only slight but becoming more noticeable after every use. The cleaner was easy to use but it did not have the same outcome as previous drain cleaners. We had to make an additional purchase to resolve the issue.
Be careful with this product, the foul liner on the cap can erode if it's left on its side. Walmart bagged it on its side and the driver left it that way. Didn't discover this error until a few hours later.
clear it out but puts staines in your bathtub. It smells bad.It staines uou bathtub and shower and is very hard to get off I scrub all day trying to get it off my bathtub and shower.
Placed my order for the liquid lightning drain cleaner when I received my delivery order it was in fact not what I ordered so I threw it away and had to make a trip to Walmart to get the correct drain cleaner that I originally ordered since they wanted to just send me whatever they wanted
Do not buy for clogs didn't work and had plumber come out pipe was clogged with hair. it didn't even work on hair it's not going to work on anything and the smell was horrible.
