V.I.P. Squeeze Cellulose Sponge Mop

This mop has a plastic handle, yay! It is NOT made out of metal. America's population is 330 million, of whom 10% (roughly 33 MILLION) have nickel allergy - they often get an itchy allergic skin rash from touching ANY item containing Nickel/other metals (especially for a sustained period of time) while some also get allergic from ingesting foods high in nickel = 'Systemic Nickel Allergy Syndrome' (SNAS). It can help keep household dust and pet dander under control too. It is affordable (I bought this for less than $7). For those with a Nickel/metal allergy, you would NOT need to wear special gloves in order to hold the handle (such gloves get especially hot in summer). I'm so grateful the handle is made of plastic! Also it is much lighter in weight compared to a mop with a wooden handle (as is my metal-free wooden-handled broom). Therefore, this mop is ideal for nickel/metal allergy sufferers who are also battling weakness or chronic fatigue. I always like a squeeze-sponge head--and importantly the blue squeeze mechanism part that you hold is ALSO made of plastic NOT metal and it snaps back into the handle easily. Finally this product is made by the BLIND so you are helping to support their career by buying this American product.

Handle will will snap on first use, no doubt, but any old broom handle will fit and turn this mop into a 5 star product .

Delighted with this mop! Exactly what i'd been looking for. VERY good price, easy to use, cleans floors well. The only thing i'd change is to have the squeegee part metal instead of plastic -- but that's nearly impossible to find these days. Every other mop i found like this ran $20 to $30 dollars :-( Ridiculous! There was a company in Miami had a mop with the metal squeegee part -- but they wanted $30 for the mop AND $29 shipping! How crazy is that ?? Very fast shipping and delivery from Walmart :-) If you're looking for an easy-to--use, very good mop for an excellent price -- get this one. Definitely recommend :-)

The VIP Squeeze Cellulose Sponge 🧽 Mop is a great fix for mopping, waxing or scrubbing. Its ease of use and durability makes the daily chore of mopping floors a delight not drudgery. The price is reasonable and it fits easily in a utility closet or kitchen corner. Definitely got my bang for my bucks!!!

Deserves zero stars. The first time I tried to use it the handle snapped off. I didn’t even have a chance to try it out on my floor . DO NOT purchase this item. It’s cheap and flimsy plastic. I bought it to replace a metal one of the same company which was misplaced during a recent move. So disappointed. Such a waste of money and time.

Deceiving. The "so-called" cellulose sponge is really a thin piece of cellulose glued to a cheap sponge. Not what I ordered or wanted. Those cheap sponges don't clean or soak up the water, hence the reason why I wanted a cellulose sponge on my mophead. I will be returning this for a refund!

you get what you pay for. i used it to mop up less than a foot of floor, tried to use the part to wring it out and the handle broke immediately
