I found buying no brand replacement cartridges were super thin and would break and that is something no one wants to happen. It's worth the money to buy the actual brand rather than deal with cheap replacements.

Love my litter genie refills, they make litter box scooping so easy and quick! The bags are easy to pull, they're antimicrobial so they contain litter box odors. I have two adult cats, one cartridge will last about 6 weeks with weekly bag changes. Cut and secure the full bag top with a rubber band and throw away. Pull down a new section of bag, tie a knot in the bottom tightly , pull down to the length of litter genie holding receptacle and close it up. Easy!

Nothing i've tried has worked as well as SLIDE cat litter. If It's dipped every day there is no odor, ever!

Works great

I've been using my Litter Genie for about 4 years now. Before that, we'd use sealing plastic bags. That was a hassle because the litter would always get in the groove's and then we couldn't close them. With these cartridges, you get 3-4 uses. I have 3 cats and go through one a week. It would probably last longer, but one of my cats pees a lot. It's simple to install the cartridge, then knot the end and run it to the bottom of the Litter Genie. One suggestion, though, is do not use it with "lightweight" litters, as the pee runs out. I tried knotting the bag every which way, and by the end of the week, had a puddle of pee sitting inside the Genie. Gross! So I switched back to regular litter for ease of use.

Great product. Delivery sucked, should have been delivered by 8 pm per email and tracking, was delivered after 11 pm.
