It does what it says it does... keeps the bad smell away and that makes it worth it. Now, if you are looking for an easy-to-use trash can, this might not be for you. The cut-and-tie system for the bags is a little more complicated than just changing a bag, but it is not a huge deal. Also, be prepared to buy the expensive refillings... Overall, I do recommend it if what you want is odor control over anything else.

I wish I had purchased one of these earlier! What a nice, easy way to keep the litter boxes clean. Now I scoop them twice a day, just because it is so much less work! The bag material is strong. Taking it out and making a new bag is simple. I love this! Bravo to the inventor!

I really like this product however I have a couple of them complaints. The thing that comes with it for the scooper is very flimsy and the scooper itself is very flimsy but other than that I am very happy with it my cats like it considering they don’t like me scooping their box anyway, but when they see me come in, they don’t run anymore, and I like the fact that it doesn’t make my house smell like cat so thank you, but just upgrade the scooper and the scooper holder

I have drank Fairlife almost as long as it’s been available. It’s high protein, lactose free and low sugar. All of its features and benefits accommodate my nutritional considerations. Price is getting too high but Walmart is lowest of all retailers carrying Fairlife.

I've used these Gene litter systems before. I didn't have any cats any more so I got rid of it. I've been without one for a long time, even thou I have 2 cats again. I didn't know how much I missed this thing until now. I found a good price on Walmart.com and I ordered one. OMG what a difference it has made. It cut the odors down 100%. I am so glad I ordered it. I would totally recommend this product to anyone with fur babies

So piece to spring load the piece that closes of the trap door is missing other than this I really like the new litter genie. Hoping the piece can be sent for it.

I’ve had another upgraded version of this which was great, this model was flimsy and barely stays together. I would upgrade to a better model if you’re considering one of these.

The design does not work. It is larger at the bottom than the opening so when you try to pull the bag out, it rips because the bag is filled wider at the bottom according to design. Have to pour everything into another bag to remove litter. Useless design.

I've always had a really good sense of smell and I was skeptical of this because other reviews from this product AND the diaper product always say people just become nose blind to the smell. They are very right. I have only had it for a week one day and everytime I open the litter genie it smells like a porta potty. I clean it down with Lysol wipes and I throw the bag every other day but the smell is really bad. I even changed the bag thing they gave to another one because I thought it contributed to the smell but the porta potty smell is back after one day. Not to mention I put the litter in dog poop bags before putting it in the litter genie and the smell is still really bad!! It doesn't even smell like my cats pee or poop it combines with the bag and makes a worse smell?? I don't have my receipt but if I did I would get a refund. I'm just gonna throw it away and get a stainless steel bin with a cover, not to mention the plastic use in the litter génies is kind of odd considering plastic holds so many smells. Great idea of a product consider I live on the third floor. Terrible execution. the part of the litter genie that slides in and out, would sometimes not latch well.

Don't buy this version, get the old grey one. This thing falls apart just by opening the top. The part that slides out to fill and back in to seal off the smell is flimsy. It doesn't stay in tight like the old version. Wish I could return it for the old one but doubt I can now since it's been in used.
