I bought this as a Christmas gift for a little girl that really wants my (living) Pekingese dogs which she calls piggies because she's only 4 years old. It's so very soft and the sad sounds made me not want to wrap it up because I felt bad. The little girl very much loved the gift, even though what she asked for was one of my dogs -it was a suitable consolation.

It is so cute. I bought it for a three year old who is an angel on our Christmas tree at church. I am hoping she will love it. She has five other siblings so I am sure it will be played with it a lot.

The Little Tikes Rescue Tales Golden Retriever is a toy that will absolutely tug at your little one's heartstrings! My daughter loves that this pup came ready to go in his cardboard dog house-- and LOVED turning his house inside out and coloring it. She loves interacting with this pup in her vet center. The Little Tikes Rescue Tales Golden Retrieve is really well-constructed and super cute with his large blue eyes and customizable collar. Each pup comes with a little adoption certificate so you can claim him and also give him a name. We have so much fun watching him wag his tail, pant and bark in excitement! This toy comes with two modes-- happy and sad. The only con I have found is that this little guy senses motion and will turn on if you walk by him. We turn him off between uses to prevent him from "exciting" us unexpectedly. Overall, however, the Little Tikes Rescue Tales Golden Retrieve will absolutely provide endless hours of fun and makes a terrific learning experience (regarding adoption!). Adopt a fur friend today-- you won't regret it!

She hated that it was crying and was so excited and happy when she got to literally wipe away it's tears and make it happy. She also really enjoyed signing the adoption certificate and giving her the name tag. She always tells it " you don't have to be sad anymore, you're my doggy now."

Soon as i opened the box the poodle started whining & my dog started going crazy. Lol. He wonders what dog is whining. Lol. This poodle is like his baby, so cute. My nieces/nephews loves him too. They love how this poodle can do so many things. Makes sounds like he is talking to them. He has his own doghouse, which is cool. U pet him & he starts whining. I ordered the Golden Retriever because we had to say goodbye to our sweet fur baby a few months back. He was so excited to open it and decorate the dog house it came in. It has a cute collar and a big head with giant puppy eyes. This toy has a happy and sad mode. The happy makes a licking noise and the sad whimpers. I wish that it had just one more that whimpered at first and then made the licking sound. Truth be told with it on one mode it makes the same noise and gets annoying to the adults pretty fast. My kiddo loved it and that's what matters.
