she is like a kid with a new toy! she always feared cell phones. but after downloading some apps like You Tube's music, sermons of her favorite pastors and Christian comedy etc. good therapy for early onset dementia.

I like my phone, but it took me several days to set it up. I had to get help. I like its size, sound volume, and the ring. I will need to practice texting and calling. Overall, I really like the phone!

Not very loud. The senior citizens are able to make international calls and get charged without warning. I was told there was no international plan and within 2 weeks I find out my 90 year old father is calling Greece with no clue he would be charged.

I cannot review the Jitterbug Smart4 phone because Walmart sent me the wrong item! They sent the Jitterbug Flip Phone! And yes, I checked, and I DID order the Smart4 phone -- not my mistake!

I bought this for my 80 mom as I thought it would be something easy and simple to setup and use as a basic mobile phone. Boy was I wrong. I tried for 3 days to activate the phone online and every single time and in every browser the lively website gave me an error trying to force you to call for activation to the tune of $30 extra. If setup was this difficult I can't imagine how using the phone is. I returned the entire thing feeling disgusted. Good idea perhaps, bad execution and terrible website. Aside from that, the phone also just did not look like it was going to be easy for a senior to use. Upon turning phone on, the Android system kept trying to update, log into Google for everything, and install crap not needed. Phone was very thin and light, which may also be in issue for a senior to hold and push buttons to turn on and use or figure out. It was a big no - I knew mum wouldn't be able to operate it to make a call.
