I was shocked when the UPS guy dropped this off in a box about 8”x24”x36”! I have never bought a file cabinet that needed to be assembled before and didn't realize that was the case with this one. Having said that, it was pretty easy to put together, the only part I found difficult was snapping the top in place. It's VERY high quality, honestly the nicest I've ever owned %26 I liked it so much I ordered a second one. Price seems high for such a small cabinet but again the quality is great and there are all kinds of little touches that really impressed me. Like rubber numbers on the drawers so they don't clank when you close them. Extra parts. A fifth wheel that is attached to the file drawer to keep it stable when opening. They even include gloves so your hands don't get greasy when attaching the lubricated glides! Overall a great little cabinet.

the assembly went great. the back part I initially screwed it on backwards rather than fumble with the screws on the inside I did it from the outside. the whole thing turned out great. in spite that the back is on backwards the only drawback is the drawer stick out and extra quarter of an inch. which is just fine by me. I'm happy it went together quick and I didn't have to mess around with them screws on the inside....lol

Definitely best for the office and assembly was easy.

Sleek design rolling file cabinet. Only one file cabinet drawer keyed locks as it was designed. I dislike the fact that it did not come already assembled. It was time consuming and buyer should pay close attention to the positioning of pieces when putting it together. Some pieces require screwing the tiny hardware and others just need to be slid and snapped together without hardware. Be meticulous when installing or you will be frustrated when it just do not come out right. It took me about an hour 20 minutes to finish with putting the cabinet together. Several pieces to put together 2 filing drawers and then the cabinet itself. I was pleased the cabinet looked when I was done. Because I have to assemble it myself I give it only a 4 star. Overall, this is a good product for the price. It looks very nice. The directions for putting it together were a little hard to understand for me and it took a lot longer than I thought it would.

I hope people do read some of the reviews and comments before making their purchase decision. I know I did. First of all, before buying this drawer, I knew it requires assembly, which I am okay with. I have done quite a few IKEA products assemblies and I know what I am getting into. For those who are not confident with their hands/tools skills, just find something that doesn't requires assembly. The drawer is all made with very thin metal sheets, so when I opened the box, a few sheet of metal have already been bent, but I was able to bend them back, by hand, without tool, that's how thin the metal sheet is. The designed method of assembly of this product is not the same as the products from IKEA, this drawer mainly uses tap screws. But because of the very thin metal parts, you could easily strip the metal or accidentally making the hole to big that the screw will not tighten at all, especially if you are using power tool. This happened in one place while I was assembling it, luckily it's in the middle of the 3 screws required and I don't think it will affect it's function (let's hope not). I was using power tool initially, but after the incident, I basically use my hands only. Also, some of the places where you need to screw are in very tight spaces. Not easy for power tool and sometimes even not easy for the screw driver that comes with the product. And if you have big hands, good luck! After thought, I was able to assemble the drawer without major issue, because I knew what I was getting into, and the drawer should serve its function. I am not complaining considering its light duty quality and price (about 1/3 of what similar item in IKEA would cost). But if you are not a handy person, or you could be using it extensively and carry heavy documents in it, I would suggest looking somewhere else, this is not going to be an ideal product for you. 2 stars solely for the item. I bought the 2 drawer filing cabinet and open arrival (not the box) the sides and drawers were already dented/bent. I figured I could deal with it and carried on. Then I noticed it came with no instructions, so I checked the warranty info here online and it was instructions for the 3 drawer so let's just say I had to figure it out and wing it. After finishing building it and making sure the locking mechanism was correct…let just say it doesn't lock and the doors easily open. Luckily Walmart customer service was fantastic rectifying the situation but I would not recommend this product…especially if the main purpose for buying it was for securing important documents. I gave it 2 stars cause the size of it is really nice and can fit in small places. 5 stars though for Walmart customer service!

Nothing is even. Drawers don't close well. Not happy at all with this item. It was put together properly too.

Actual trash product. Top drawer doesnt even shut all the way.

Package arrived with missing pieces. I was able to assemble, but have tried contacting the seller twice to get the parts. No response. Metal is very thin and flimsy. Instructions are hard to interpret.
