Really like it. Has handle to lift top up easily. Has window to see how full it is. I use a plastic grocery bag to collect small pieces %26 cannot use it. A lot better than the strip shredder I had %26 does 6 pages %26 runs 4 minutes. Has an overheat overload with red light %26 surprised air coming out of the back slots. I recommend it for home use - for small piles. 6 pages at a time for 4 minutes is good enough for me. Autofeed. If I need to do more come back %26 do more.

This is an affordable shredder every homes should have . I owned it less than a month and the second time i was gonna use it, it stopped working. when i turn it on, even changing setting to AUTO/REV/FWD, the led light turn on only for a second and makes click noise afterwards. . I was so annoyed that it only worked for me for one time used until I call the customer service and gave me instruction to troubleshoot. The issue was just the SENSOR! All i had to do was lift the top from the bin and started working again! With the issue I had and for its cost, In think its very reasonable ! I highly recommend this simple shredder from walmart

Easy to set up and easy to use and it is as advertised. I've had this brand of shredder before and I especily like the handle for the top of the shredder which my last one didn't have. This is a very nice home-shredder ... gets the job done.

doesnt take 4-6 papers as noted for it kept getting stuck, the reverse button didnt unfree the papers i had to unplug and tediously scrape it out. i now do only 1 page at a time since i had 4 times of papers jamming it up. It is still very handy and useful and im happy to have it. i use it alot!

I started with some old credit cards because wanted to see if they slowed it down and have to say was very pleased with it got all my old receipts with numbers on them and again was very pleased for all the longer it took me to go through them. I only thing i would like would be a handle on the trash can so could move the shrewder with the bottom at one time (together) I do think it was a great buy worked for me.

This device effectively shreds up to six sheets of paper at a time. User Guide cautions against operating for more than four consecutive minutes. There are instructions provided for paper jams and overheating. There is a panel allowing visibility of the amount of shredded paper in the container. Note: Although product advertised the ability to shred credit cards (the reason I was motivated to purchase), I do not recommend attempting to shred any credit card. I attempted to shred a credit card and the device immediately stopped operation with the overheating red indicator light.

Wish I had read through the instruction booklet before buying. It is recommended to shred for 4 minutes, and then rest it for 30 minutes to avoid over heating. If you have a lot of shredding to do, this is not for you! Also, it doesn't shred more than three pages at a time without struggling. You get what you pay for with product.

you can only put one paper in at a time. and after you shred 10 papers the shredder slows down and starts to stop. by the time you do 15 papers it stops working because the red light comes on indicating it is hot. the paper does not fall from the blades you have to pick it off and the it cuts your fingers. not worth the money.

overheated within 5 minutes of use. it works as intended BUT not for heavy use.. if you have loads of documents to shred this isn't for you. looked into the manual after overheated %26 it states, use for ONLY 4 minutes then turn off for 30 minutes... so it'll take you 15 hours to get one hour of shredding done.

Purchased for home office. Liked the design and size. Disliked that it only lasted less than a month with light use. Don't know what happened to it. Just quit working. No power light on. Nothing. Walmart did refund my money but not the protection plan money. Said to call Allstate Protection.
