Fellowes Powershred Shredder Oil / Lubricant – 12 Oz. Bottle

A whole lot more economical than the "Lubrication Paks" . On a regular basis use a sheet of paper you plan to shred, and 'draw' a big X from corner to corner and shred it. This will reduce wear and tear on your machine, and keep blades sharper longer.

This product was recommended by the manufacturer of my office shredder. It is easy to use and will prolong the life of the machine. Highly recommend

Using Fellowes brand oil will help prolong the life of any shredder. I must admit though, I did have an Aurora shredder that finally died a couple months ago after almost 8 years of extreme shredding and not once had I ever applied oil to it. Guess I was lucky...VERY lucky! Since purchasing a Fellowes MS-450Ci, (micro-shredder), its oiled every time a full basket is emptied. I fold an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper in half, inserting it about a half inch into the opening. Hold apart, a little bit, the two ends of the paper and quickly apply the oil beginning at the top and moving across as it will run down into the crease. Quickly insert the rest of the way into the shredder. A small amount of oil will run out of the sides, but that's good...it will lubricate the very ends of the cutters. When shredding is complete, I run in reverse and forward respectively, for approx. 15 seconds each mode. Works for me. NOTE: I apply oil beginning at the top of the folded paper letting it run down to make sure all the cutters have a chance of being lubricated. The cutter is cylindrical in shape and revolves. If oil is only applied to the bottom of crease, only a small number of the cutters will be lubricated in one revolution.

Lubricant for paper shredders. Is as advertised, just spread across cutter blades and working parts of motor head. Wish I had been aware of importance of using this on my old shredder. I will be oiling the mechanical parts regularly on my new crosscut shredder to get the long life needed. Recommend this product for any brand of paper shredder. Nothing fancy and easy to use.

The size of the product and price were a great factor. Applied it with ease and the shredder has been working better.

The oil is easy to use. It really helped the shredder as we had never oiled it. I would purchase again when needed. We are using it on a home shredder so it will last a long time. You get a large sized bottle.

I have bought a couple of Fellowes shredders in the past and they have only lasted a year. When I bought my current shredder 14 months ago I started using this oil with it and have found that I have had no trouble with this machine.

As a teacher, I do a lot of shredding . After burning through a few shredders, I found this product. It has made such a difference. It is easy to apply. No muss- no fuss! The larger bottle is perfect for my use. However, there is a smaller bottle available too.

It is oil, is easy to use, a convenient size container with a spout to control the flow rate of the oil, it is the proper oil for the intended use, to keep my paper shredder operation properly, and while the best price I could find at the time, it is nonetheless overpriced.
