as soon as I received this grill pan, I cooked dinner on it, chicken breast. I pre-heated the pan for about 10 minutes, but I think it was hot enough sooner. the chicked sizzled and char marks were like bbq. I'm adding liquid smoke next to make it more bbq. be careful, I burned the chicken, and it was hard to clean. But I've researched cleaning cast iron and probably learned better. this pan is heavy, but duh cast iron. so I'm pleased with the quality and results from my first attempt.

The pan is exactly what i needed just remember to care properly for your cast iron it is a bit much to care when washing and cleaning but worth the desired outcome. I use this for cooking where a grill isnt able to be used so I am happy I can somewhat "grill" things while not able to actually use a grill in my complex.

Wow! First of all, the price is awesome. Secondly, this thing is heavy. Like crazy heavy. Surprisingly heavy. Third, the pan I received says 10.5 inch on it not 10.25, not sure why Walmarts listing here is wrong. Looking forward to using it!

Can't go wrong with Lodge iron skillets! They are a great investment as they will last you your life time and can be passed down for generations! Can't wait to pan fry a steak in this!

It'a a lodge, typically they make the best cast iron products but no one is perfect. I had a little trouble with mine but walmart took care of it right away.

Boyght this cast iron grill to cook turkey burgers and meat on top of electric grill. Followed all directions and seasoned properly. HOWEVER the ground beef and turkey stuck to the ridges every time. By time it was done, lost 1/3 burger in waste sticking to grill. Very heavy and hard to clean. Returning this item

This griddle purchase was made with excitement and anticipation! I have wanted a cast iron griddle for a long time, so when I saw this griddle at this price, I was beyond elated to purchase. Well my hopes and dreams were drowned out by all the smoke the griddle produces when you first heat it up! " ok", I thought, " this is just temporary." No!!! this thing smoked until it set off my smoke detector. Secondly, I got a smidge of water on the surface. That , less than a teaspoon of water, turned into a rusty blob of a mess. This is not a quality product. I have a smaller Lodge cast iron product, that I was extremely happy with, which only fueled my confidence in this product. WRONG!!! Not all Lodge product are created equal. I would return if I didn't live in the USVI!!! Buy this one with caution!

I ordered ed this pan and when I received it I used it once and went to treat it with the oil that is used for cast iron pans and before I could even treat it little rust spots started to appear in the bottom of the pan the quality is not what was expected from a cast iron pan which I have several of and never had this type of situation before

I used item once and when I rinsed it off without any detergent, it completely rusted and is unusable for $20. That is insane. It's completely orange covered in rust. It was washed right away. I'm sorry rinsed and it's totally unusual. I had to throw out grocery items that I was unable to cook in addition to that.
