Lodge 10.25" Square Seasonsed Cast Iron Grill Pan

as soon as I received this grill pan, I cooked dinner on it, chicken breast. I pre-heated the pan for about 10 minutes, but I think it was hot enough sooner. the chicked sizzled and char marks were like bbq. I'm adding liquid smoke next to make it more bbq. be careful, I burned the chicken, and it was hard to clean. But I've researched cleaning cast iron and probably learned better. this pan is heavy, but duh cast iron. so I'm pleased with the quality and results from my first attempt.

It'a a lodge, typically they make the best cast iron products but no one is perfect. I had a little trouble with mine but walmart took care of it right away.

very heavy. Cooked the steaks well. Delicious, every bite. We are fussy. I have a lare griddle, but is to large for 2 steaks. This was just right!

Good pan all around. The only thing is its heavy for an old lady like me. It did stick a little, I don't think I put enough oil in it. With the ridges on the surface some foods won't work.

Not a fan. First time I use filled house with smoke and chicken stuck to it. Will have to try again and see what happens. They say the more you use the better it becomes.

I ordered ed this pan and when I received it I used it once and went to treat it with the oil that is used for cast iron pans and before I could even treat it little rust spots started to appear in the bottom of the pan the quality is not what was expected from a cast iron pan which I have several of and never had this type of situation before
