I purchased this item for a friend as I had noticed that he had only one quilt. He, absolutely loves it! He also likes the fact that it's reversible, so he can change patterns whenever he likes. It can be used all thru the year and is washable.

Absolutely love the design and colors, but was a little disappointed at how thin it was! That is the reason I only gave it four stars. But overall, I would buy it again absolutely love it. And would recommend it to my friends.

The weight is absolutely fine for summertime, but you would want an additional blanket on the bed if you have cold winters. Essentially, it covers the bed for appearances, and the fabric %26 quilting are good quality. Quilt sizes vary so much, however, that I decided to order the king size for a queen bed to avoid having to add a bed skirt. The mattress is quite thick. But that didn't fit well either, because the length top to bottom didn't increase, only the width. Plus, I'd have to resize the pillow shams if I used them. I decided I really needed to find that rare oversized queen quilt. That's why I'm returning this. I also felt the print looked a little too youth-oriented after putting it on the bed. The room is an adult guest room.

Beware that the pattern is not straight at all. I like the material and pattern, however the fact that they couldn't line up the pattern is very disappointing.

The item on line says it's like 60% cotton, 40 poly. Just got the gift as a Christmas present and it's 100% poly. The washing directions on here say wash warm, dry warm. Tag says wash cold, dry cool. NO iron (not that I was going to.) I ordered this quilt over others because they stated all poly and this one said it had cotton. I only like a top blanket/quilt/bedspead that breaths. I sleep hot. Poly does not breath. It's in the dryer now. So I'm not sure if I'll use it after a trial period or not.

It does look nice. However, the pillow cases are already ripping apart. We haven't had it long. No worth what we paid.
