We LOVE this bed frame! I cannot say enough good things about it and for the bargain of a price, don't hesitate! It took a few hours to put together (by myself) but wasn't hard. My son has a very small room so having a loft bed gives him so much more space to be able to play. Right now we are using the desk as extra toy storage/display but it will be perfect as an actual desk space as he gets older. The LED light strip is really good quality, although the tape doesn't stick well. I suggest using a few zipties to secure it to the beam. You definitely want to make sure to use the anchoring system! The bed is very sturdy but an adult or older kid climbing up will make the bed rock a bit which is to be expected. I had planned on buying some sort of padding for the stair treads for added comfort, but it came with a roll of foam padding that works perfectly!

We've only JUST gotten the bed, but so far, we love it. we have a three bedroom house. So obviously my husband and I have our room. We have one son with his own room, and THREE GIRLS in ONE room. We are buying one bed each paycheck to help elivate the SPACE needed for them.

Assembly was difficult... we had to come back around for a feesh start more than once. but it all fit perfectl...with a hammer for force. Very sturdy, looks great and my 13yr old loves it! great price

After taking almost 4 hours to assemble, the final steps in placing the bars across the bed that supports the mattress, 3 bars were too short. As a single mom with no tools, I had to go to Home Depot to find a 2x2 that had to be cut to the correct width but they won't cut it to the size I actually needed, so it lifts the mattress just a little bit, because it's not like slat.

Be on the lookout for defects in the framework. Was very upset to find such a defect after spending such a large amount of money for the frame. The box was also poorly handled. Chunks of cardboard missing from the outer packaging
