I made the switch to this ball mouse, it took a few days but now I love it. People said it was big but I think its just one finger too narrow in the width and that the LR buttons are too long(close to the palm). I'd like to palm the mouse more but it feels good still and is noticeably better for my arm, also Im faster and more precise now that I'm familiar with it.
I have used this type of pointing device for many years. For me, it completely eliminates wrist strain. It can be used on any surface, including your knee, while on a flight. It also allows for more precise control and has additional buttons that can be customized. There may be a learning curve but it was well worth it for me.
Got this for the trackball But was VERY SURPRISED at how silent it was Clicks are almost non-existent More quiet than a "silent mouse" I have from Logitech They have been improving drastically
Most comfortable trackball you can find. Used the trackman marble plus when I was younger, this is even better! Only comment from me is the click buttons are kind of easy to push and I accidentally clicked for a while when I first got it, but they truly are silent.
This is my first time using a stationary mouse, which means you don't move it around like the other ones, at first, it was a little weird using your thumb for movement but it's all good everything is smooth, quick, and quiet, you don't hear any clicking and has a fast response especially when gaming,
This trackball fits my palm just right. The location and sizes of button are just what I'd expect. One caution before buying one: try one out in person. My hand is relatively large (size 8), so keep that in mind when reading this.
It is just perfect !! I have use the Logitech Mouse for many years. This is the ultimate one I have ever had. I love the soft touch no click noise. Smooth as butter !!!
I like the fact that the roller ball is easy to use
I really want to like this trackball. In fact, compared to my mouse, well, any mouse, really, it's a definite step up. The main issue I have with it seems to be personal. Not having used a trackball for years, I was expecting the ball to have a measure of resistance. Rather, it's very fluid, but my thumb is so shaky that I can't pinpoint anything without dropping to extreme precision mode. So I use my trackball, "Off label"; i.e. not as intended. So, now, I use my thumb and forefinger for rolling and precision, and mid and ring fingers for clicking. Works. Weird. But no strain whatsoever. This I like. Not quite a fiver, tho.
Very uncomfortable to use. My wrist was hurting immediately and, after using for a while, my arm hurt up to my elbow. Put it away the very first day and went back to using my Anker (which has problem with batteries).
