I first used one of these mice at work several years ago. It was attached to a computer controlled machine that was on an arm that had a small surface that would not accommodate a regular mouse. After a learning period, I began to hate my regular mouse at home. That is when I looked into purchasing one for my home computer and I nave never looked back. I have one on my desktop and laptop. This is the only mouse that I now use.

Been using many variants of this model for some years Buttons eventually flake out from model to model, so you may miss a click here and there during the course of it's lifetime. 9 times out of 10, these are replaced due to typical button failure and may vary based on your own personal mileage. The trackball movement and resolution are excellent, though you'd need to clean out the rollers from time to time to prevent trackball "stickiness" (trackball not rolling or getting stuck). Great alternative for those without desktop real estate for a regular mouse or people looking for something to reduce wrist and elbow fatigue.

I finally made the switch to trackball due to wrist pain and I am annoyed I didn't switch sooner! I can keep my wrist neutral and still work and play on my computer for hours without pain. Just need to finish dialing in the sensitivity and increasing my thumb coordination/scrolling accuracy, and I will be completely satisfied.

I have used this style of "mouse" for decades. This one stinks. The buttons are too sensitive and have so little travel (less than 1mm). The right button has even less. The ball is lighter. When selecting multiple files where you have to scroll; it looses control and starts auto selecting and scrolling even when clicking off window. Even when you pull the battery for a short while. I just set it down and leave it alone until it stops. I reinstalled my old one. No issues. It is NOT my laptop. It is this piece.

Switched to an ergo setup after some P.T. issues, and so far it's been good. I used to use a trackpad, so it took me a solid week or two to get used to this guy, but it feels good now. Not moving it around like a normal mouse feels different at first, but with daily use the adjustment felt fast. Hands and arms feel much less strained at the end of the day. I don't really use any of the buttons, but it seems like there are some handy features there as well (there are some good YouTube reviews that shows them all). Bought Logitech as it has been a reliable brand for me. Would buy again.

I made the switch to this ball mouse, it took a few days but now I love it. People said it was big but I think its just one finger too narrow in the width and that the LR buttons are too long(close to the palm). I'd like to palm the mouse more but it feels good still and is noticeably better for my arm, also Im faster and more precise now that I'm familiar with it.

I really want to like this trackball. In fact, compared to my mouse, well, any mouse, really, it's a definite step up. The main issue I have with it seems to be personal. Not having used a trackball for years, I was expecting the ball to have a measure of resistance. Rather, it's very fluid, but my thumb is so shaky that I can't pinpoint anything without dropping to extreme precision mode. So I use my trackball, "Off label"; i.e. not as intended. So, now, I use my thumb and forefinger for rolling and precision, and mid and ring fingers for clicking. Works. Weird. But no strain whatsoever. This I like. Not quite a fiver, tho.

This is the third trackball I have owned over the last 20 years. Simple, portable, durable, and functional. It won't win any cool gamer contests, but it works great, especially for laptops or tight workspaces. 10/10 would recommend.

Using these for many years now, the ease of keeping the mouse in one spot and using the ball to move the cursor around is a total no-return to regular device use.
