Honestly, I love this keyboard. It's very quiet. I work with a lot of people and at times it's silent and all you can hear is clicking on the keyboard. I'll tell you this, this keyboard is much more quiet than the one I had before. I actually love that. It's smooth on the fingers. Never thought I would care about that before lol. Def would buy again.
It has a fabric print, so it is actually a smooth and soft wrist rest. Be careful to get your USB dongle out of the box because it is easy to miss. Fascinatingly enough, there is empty space in the battery hatch to store the dongle. It doesn't fit there snuggle though. Looks sleek compared to my old worn out Microsoft ergonomic keyboard. Easier to look under for missing pens and sticky note.
I have used this type of keyboard for years. However IF you click the Home button instead of the 1 to switch the keyboard to another VM, the 1 switch button will blink and will NOT type unless U hit the Home button again, it will blink and not work. To me since the Home button is just below the switch monitor/machine button this is a bug and Logitech does not seem to be familiar with it as I opened a ticket for it and finally in frustration purchased a new keyboard. W\hen that repeated the same behavior I began to explore exactly what caused it and pinpointed the issue. A simple click of the Home button fixes the behavior. Well now I have two keyboards that work. Out the purchase money but I work in IT and could not afford to wait for an answer they did not have.
Logitech site not very user friendly when looking for compatibility. I was under the impression that my good old M705 rodent would not work with the same transmitter/receiver as the keyboard. So I bought a new mouse. Well the M705 is happy with the keyboard, but the new mouse, Lift, now living with a rarely used laptop.
I had just purchased an ergo-nomic keyboard from another company. However, some of the keys began to stick or not work at all. This was especially aggravating when entering numerical codes. I purchased this keyboard and have incurred no problems other than I wished I had some literature as to how to best utilize all of the keys.
Great keyboard for ergonomics and tactile feedback. However, the materials leave something to be desired as it's already showing signs of wear after 1-2 months of moderate/heavy use. That's really my only criticism, everything else works well as advertised.
The shape is really nice and comfortable for me. I like the wrist bar and layout. My reason for not giving 5 starts is that I think the keys could be easier to press, especially for an "ergo" keyboard. Every other keyboard I use has keys that require less pressure subjectively.
2nd keyboard to glitch out rendering it unusable. I purchased in 2021 and had to repurchase in 2025. Maybe 4 years is expected lifetime? 2nd purchase less than 12 mths ago and i experience several glitches, some the same as before and many different , all render keyboard unusable. I connected and disconnected, turn on and off, restarted computer all multiple times and glitches increased. Today i set it aside for a different Logi keyboard with fingers crossed. The warranty is only 30 days so i assume im out of luck on replacement.
i have used the K350 at work and home for almost 20 years.. its a great keyboard. i would have kept it when i was forced to use Win11...but there is no longer software support from Logi and the k350 barely works in w11 without it. So i bought the 860 desperate to get something working on my new pc... installation was complicated, troublesome and required a Lot of fussing about to get it to work with my existing 510 mouse. Its a Keyboard !!!!! installation should be stone cold simple And automatic...no excuses, this was a bad install experience. finally got it working. not like my k350 but good enough... the layout might be ergo perfection but the layout for ANYONE that has used a standard layout is Very hard to learn. andif you ever need to use a standard layout the conversation leaves you constantly correcting typos... bottom line... if your just learning to type...maybe if you know how 2 type...STRONG AVOID logi...I'll give my 860 to charity if you please just fix the sw and support the K350....
I thought this was going to be about the same as the Microsoft Ergonomic keyboard. It is not, I didn't come with any kind of manual, i couldn't get it to work and found out it had a hidden on/off switch. The Microsoft didn't. The keys were spaced too far apart and the wave was anything but ergonomic. It is useless for me. Just another keyboard in a box in a corner.
