Smooth mouse

Mike March 14, 2025

Works great. Seems a little too sensitive with the Logitech app. Probably just need to tweak it. Great for gaming. Like that it has a couple extra buttons, but not a bunch of extra buttons. I also like how it feels and looks. I have big hands and it works great for me.

A great gaming mouse to use with a caveat

Kenneth March 9, 2024

Overall I'm happy using this mouse as a daily driver. It's really nice to adjust the DPI with the buttons to the side of the left mouse button. Of course, any of the mouse buttons can be mapped to different mouse or keyboard actions using Logitech's G HUB software and be stored at the mouse's firmware level for portability. I changed the DPI Shift button on the left side of the mouse to be either the Win or Alt keys using different profiles depending on the OS I'm using. This is to be able to move and resize window apps with the left and right mouse respectively without needing to use the titlebar and window edges. For Windows, I use the AltSnap utility on GitHub to accomplish this feature. The only caveat I must mention is that it sort of requires using the top 3-finger pose instead of 2 for gaming in long durations. The top-right side of the mouse has a bit of outward edge and when gripping it with the ring finger in the 2-finger pose can eventually create some pitched nerve damage there, even with large hands. Adjusting to 3-finger is something I need to get used to but would work well given the molding design of the mouse.

Not bad

Avet August 9, 2025

Before this I was using G502. Advantages of G502 X: 1. It's significantly lighter. Even with 0 extra weights, G502 is much heavier. 2. The scroll wheel has much better grip. I never liked the slippery scroll on G502. Disadvantages: 1. The rubber under my thumb and pinky feels awkward and sometimes is sticky. Not the best feeling. Would prefer plastic there. 2. The cable looks kind of cheap compared to the braided cable on G502. Though if the durabiliy is still good, I don't really mind. 3. Buttons and the scroll are louder. I wonder why doesn't Logitech have any gaming mouse with the scroll technology of MX Master 3? That's the best scroll I've ever seen.

Great but could be better

N. Berg May 25, 2026

Great but could be better if it had a RGB indicator what DPI you were on because some games it doesn't pop up in when you change. It seems to revert or I hit it but could be just me.

Not Necessarily an Upgrade

-eep November 18, 2025

I came from the g502 hero, a mouse with some flaws and some perks. If you liked the g502 hero, it DOESN'T mean you will like this mouse. It's main differences is that it is lighter, no LEDs, and improved mouse switches (buttons inside the mouse). Overall it isn't a bad mouse, especially if you buy it on sale like I did, but are the improvements that noticeable? Not really, kind of a disappointing remodel all things considered.

It worked

AlyssR November 27, 2025

Works fine but is very pricy and no RBG. Might not be worth the huge price spike from a regular wired g502 hero.

buggy mouse and support is useless

anonymous October 15, 2025

the on-board memory mode is bugged and resets after the mouse stop receiving power. Logitech support has been useless in helping me. Don't buy.
