I like that it's easy setup plug and play, no software to download to get it to work. It lights up decently, with adjustable intensity, and the lettering on the keys do light up also. Main problem with it is probably my fault, but I can't figure out how to stop it from rotating colors. I just want to pick one color and stay on it.. Not looking for a rave on my desktop lol. I don't use the hard plastic wrist wrest; I prefer the soft one by Insten that I use. I'm a recreational online gamer and this keyboard hasn't failed me in a raid yet. I'll wait to see how it holds up over time, but so far it's responsive enough for my needs. I prefer wired because the wireless ones have done me wrong before - battery dies in the middle of a boss fight or something else important lol. The cord is long enough to reach easily.
Absolutely love this keyboard. The keys are not loud like most gaming keyboard, but, offer the color scheme (plethora to choose from) to inspire you throughout the day. The keyboard is wide, with a separate number pad. It also comes with a wrist rest. Definitely worth the money paid for.
This keyboard is perfect for ladies with longer nails. So far it has been the only keyboard I can type on with ease. The keys could be quieter (personal preference only while at work, I could care less at home) but I am pleased either way. I love that I can make the color any color I want. I also love the wrist rest.
Surprisingly Solid Keyboard—Even for Non-Gamers I bought this keyboard expecting something basic, but it delivered more than I anticipated. I'm not a gamer, at least not in the way this keyboard was designed for, but I was looking for something responsive, well-built, and comfortable for long hours of typing—and this fits the bill. • Typing Experience: The keys are smooth and satisfying to use. They have a nice tactile feel without being too loud or stiff. It's made my writing sessions more enjoyable. • Lighting %26 Design: The RGB lighting is clearly aimed at gamers, but I've found it useful for working in dim settings. It's easy to adjust or turn off if you prefer a more minimal look. • Build Quality: It feels sturdy and well-made, with a weight that keeps it in place. The wrist rest, which I didn't think I'd care about, has actually made a difference in comfort. • Extra Features: I haven't used the macro keys for gaming, but they're handy for shortcuts in other programs. It's nice to have that flexibility. Overall, this keyboard has earned its spot on my desk. It may have been built for gamers, but it works just as well for writers, creators, and anyone who appreciates a good typing experience.
Very quiet and silent keyboard. I know when I was doing my research on this keyboard many were very happy with it. Yes it is extremely basic and plastic, but amazing quality and the wrist rest is soooo nice. Very very bright RGB too. Well worth the money.
I was looking for a run of the mill replacement keyboard when I saw this one on sale at Walmart and ended up purchasing after reading reviews. The included wrist protector works well and is very comfortable, my only niggle being that I wish it was able to be attached to the keyboard as it tends to slide around my desk a bit. The membrane keys are quite comfortable to use, although they have a little more travel than I would personally prefer ideally. The keys are also relatively quiet. The lighting is fine for my purposes, if you want more zones and effects you might consider the regular non "X" version of this keyboard, which also has better keys. All in all I would buy it again in a heartbeat. It ended up exceeding my expectations.
I needed a new keyboard for work STAT after having broken a key on mine on my beloved ergonomic keyboard. I definitely wanted to try something new and cute, which to me entailed a fun colorful mechanical keyboard. I thought the LED lights would be extremely fun, plus this Razer Ornata V3 was easy and quick to get from Walmart. Unfortunately, I did not love these features. I also did not love the mechanical clackyness of the keys and found them hard to press after so long using a soft press ergo keyboard. This lack of responsivity led to lots of unnecessary typos. The LED lights were definitely fun, but the easily moveable, hard plastic “ergonomic” “pad”? Not so much. There were a lot of interesting features included that I do not need and will never use. Why the 4 stars? Because of the ease of setup, the fun factor, and the fact that this keyboard's features that I dislike will most likely work well for people who are used to this type of thing. There's no reason to ding a product that works just because I don't particularly like the way it works.
This keyboard is very good for the price, I bought it because I have seen it on sale and also because I don't like how high most keys are and how the buttons feel on regular RGB keyboards, this keyboard has slim membrane keycaps and short switches so they make a lot less of a noise unlike most RGB keyboards do now. this keyboard also comes with the ability to raise the front half of the keyboard which I love when pared with the wrist rest. This keyboard is perfect for people who dislike new pc keyboards and like the feeling of typing on a laptop keyboard with low easy to press buttons that also make a quite satisficing quiet click when pressed. The one thing I dislike about this keyboard though is that you must download the razor app and have it running has a background app on computer to be able to change the color of the backlights, although its not really an issue sense it barely eats any of my computer resources I find it a little annoying. Also I thought the wrist rest snaps on to they keyboard which it does not you kinda just have to slide it into place but it holds its position nonetheless, just though I should bring that up.
I spilled milk on my keyboard and needed another while I cleaned and dried the switches and PCB. this was available for same day delivery and it works. it has no n-key roll over, so the most buttons you can press simultaneously is 3. it's definitely been an issue in games where I need to crouch, move, and interact. its so bad, that I went and got an open source keyboard. don't buy this keyboard, seriously, it's as cheap as cheap can get while being overpriced due to branding.
2 days after using this keyboard I was having double key presses from the A T B and N buttons. Nothing I did fixed this. I downloaded Synapse to no avail thinking maybe it was driver issues. Come to find out, they don't even support this keyboard because it's "to budget" for them to waste time on. I know this is not Walmart's fault, but they seriously need to complain on customers behalf as if the customer decides to return the item, Walmart eats the cost. Do not buy this Piece of crap. The keys feel so mushy like there is gel underneath them. It just feels awkward to use. Will never buy another membrane keyboard again!
