RAZER KRAKEN V3 X - Wired USB Gaming Headset

Great quality in both the 7.1 surround sound and overall product design. Its 40mm drivers are lighter than 52s but with a good balanced in depth at a lighter weight. Highly recommend especially for the price, comparable to headsets that are over $100.

I got these headphones for my husband and I to use while gaming, and they're comparable to $100 headphones! Very pleased with our purchase! Great fit around the ears, sound quality is great, and the microphone is clear so that others can hear you during a game.

I almost feel silly as I waited so long to purchase a pair of quality headphones. Too many options can be overwhelming for me at times when looking for a product, Luckily the app suggested these gems. It's truly game changing; the positioning customization capability is simply insane. My son said they sound as good as his high end razer set... Guess who paid for that one? lol Also, I'm not sure if all razer products come with the added 7.1 surround sound feature, but that was some surprise value for sure! =) My son says they sound as good as his $300 pair in the games we play together.

I honestly thought that this product was a slightly different product that I already had those getting a backup replacement for, so like the silly little customer I was, I got it. I'm not complaining, though. I like the RAZER brand products anyway. Plus, now I get to figure out some of the new products, and RAZER is pretty good either way. RAZER has some really good quality stuff that I've had in the past, so it'll be fun to try out a new one. The overall price was a little cheaper than I thought, but with the Walmart order discount, it made it a lot easier to buy, especially in the case that one of the cats actually broke my original headphones set. So overall, I'm pretty happy with this.

the sound is pretty good but i bought it for the mic. my old mic sounded like trash. this head set was pretty middle of the road on price but the quality of the mic is pretty good. The fit well and are comfortable.

Actually better than I expected for the price. The bass range was perhaps a bit much.... but it was definitely not so bad that it was a dealbreaker for me. I bought this headset for my 14 year old son, who (surprise surprise... loves to do nothing more than doing the gaming thing on his PC or Xbox...) and he really likes the way they sound and feel. He did say something about the bass range as well (he said the same thing as I did about it... a bit much but not bad enough to throw them out.) He really did appreciate the Razer name on the product. His words were, "Razer is a good, high-quality brand" Look...... If a 14 year old kid that wants to dedicate his life to gaming (and not his chores...) says the headset is a decent product... then I guess we need to listen, and take it somewhat seriously. I had to see for myself... (and I am a tad-bit older than 14...) I personally feel like I got my money's worth in this product... and then some. Would definitely recommend for the price. No, it is not going to perform like the $200 high-end "studio" headphones.... but they are definitely 'good enough' for everyday 'midrange' use.

Good headset, the mic is the only problem. It’s not horrible, you will sound fine but you won’t sound clear. What I mean is if you’re looking for a MICROPHONE headset. Your best option is getting an actual microphone or just find a better headset than this one lol.

The software is garbage and only lets you control lighting and volume. They give you 7.1 but during gaming it clips out and doesn't give consistently good sound. Microphone is also touchy sometimes and cuts off the beginning and end of sentences. If you want a gaming headset spend a few dollars more for a non USB pair. Good sound quality though, I do have to add.

Do not get these if you have a bigger head or wear glasses. They crush your ears and cause your glasses to press into your skin causing pain. I tried to let wear and tear stretch it out so it wouldn’t crush my ears but it still does that regularly. Otherwise the microphone quality is okay, nothing crazy. The sound is pretty good, a lot of bass in it.

I wish they were better The app for the is really bad and doesnt even have any options for changing mic functions. They pick up everything even with discords sensitivity being all the way up and yet I still cut out if I put it down so I can be heard the background is louder. The mic also randomly chose to stop working while I was trying to test it and even if I wanted to try to fix it the firmware updating app didnt pick them up. If you have a standalone mic maybe these would be okay even though the audio can be a little quiet.
