10 year old grandson loves these. it's his second set but he's rough with things, but the first set did last almost a year. He says the sound is great and its very comfortable.
I've been going down the line of Razer headsets over time, testing each one in different scenarios to decide which one is the best match for me. Although I don't think this will be my final contender, this is a top 3 finalist. It's very light and streamlined, the mic detaches and reattaches very easily, you can connect using the dongle or the charging cord, at the click of a button you can play or stop your background videos/music, and it has a little color changing integrated for times you want a little pizazz. There's also a button that can change the sound types I believe but I could be mistaking that for the button that plays the background stuff. Overall 10/10. Would recommend for the casual gamer.
I really love this headset and the different audio features for Music, movies, and gaming its really good and the blue tooth range is great I can walk to the other side of the house!
Awesome headset! Great sound and mic and not bad on price
Other than the audio randomly crackling then cutting out; its completely fine. I have tried to resolve by updating drivers, this only happens to this headset.
I've owned my share of Razer products over the years. The first Razer product I bought still works today. I have another set of Razer headphones that are still in operation today. If you have larger ears, I'd really recommend the Razer Nari for the fit and feel. The selling point on THESE headphones comes down to adding a couple more channels. Razer Barracuda are the over the ear (but almost on ear for my lobes). Sounds pretty decent to my non-audiophile-ic receptors. But, unlike the Nari, these don't auto-adjust to fit my head. They're more like your traditional headset with clicky extenders. The cups do roll 90 degrees for flat storage in their included bag and the microphone is completely detachable for easier flatter storage. I forsee a point of failure being in that mechanism specifically (so have your duct tape at the ready (these haven't failed yet, but I've been on very few trips with them so far). Now, the software, in my opinion is only really necessary to do initial setup of equalizers, firmware (if applicable - like with their mice, once your settings are to your liking, you can store them on device). After that, you can uninstall the software and use Windows Spatial Audio or Dolby Atmos to power the channels. The extra software just ends up utilizing your computer's resources even while you're trying to game. The button to "boost" gaming performance barely registered a 1% across all metrics. Keep in mind that Razer software implements it's own methods to drive those channels and (if, like me, your setup has Dolby Atmos which came with purchase) you really should either leave Atmos off or uninstall Razer in favor of Atmos or Windows Spatial Audio. They'll fight for control over the device if you try to have your cake and eat it too. If the forks holding the cans doesn't break, I expect these to still function like new well past 2035. Do yourselves a favor, though, save battery life and just turn the LEDs off. Chroma only works well if you can actually perceive it functioning anyways.
i cant recommend this because it didnt work with xbox.
Quite possibly the worst pair of headphones I have owned and the price for them is even more atrocious. Tried on multiple devices (with their recommended software installed and also tried with my own) and every time it sounded like I was in a tunnel with the echo. This is NOT the pair of headphones for you.
the hardware is good. The software required is very resource intensive and causes many memory errors.
Not connecting with my laptop. I will be return
