Logitech Pro Wireless Gaming Mouse

This mouse is sweet. The material is nice, the mouse is nice to hold. The tracking is fantastic. The mouse can be customized for performance. One of my favorite features is that it does not need batteries. A quick USB plug in and it's charged. You can use it while it's charging as well. The range is awesome. We could still use it 2 rooms away, behind a wall. Someone was watching the screen as the other person far away moved the mouse. It is crazy good.

Let me preface this review by stating that even though I am a gamer, I strongly dislike "gamer" stuff. I find they typical "gamer" styles to be ugly and RGB to be obnoxious. I wish more companies would stop hiring 13 year old kids who think Tokyo Drift is the best Fast & Furious movie to design all their stuff. The RGB slapped in this mouse with the Lightsync is completely pointless because it'll probably turn off in sleep mode when the mouse is not in use and when it is in use your palm will cover the RGB logo anyway. Where this mouse really shows it's value is the Lightspeed connection. I am showing much improved enemy tracking over any other mouse I own. It's even better than my older gamer wired mouse. I'm noticing this in FPS games in a big way. The biggest improvement I've noticed is in Mechwarrior 5 which I'm playing on Geforce Now. Between the input lag from my trusty M510 (which I love) and the input lag from streaming and the intended lag from the battlemech torso it was very difficult to track enemies. The G Pro gets rid of enough lag on my end that tracking enemies is no longer an issue. The sensor is very precise. I don't notice it so much in gaming as I do when using it in photo and video editing programs. I like the size of it and the subtle look of the 90's basic mouse. It's also ambidextrous and you can remove or change out the magnetic buttons. The only downsides I've found are that the lightspeed receiver only receives the mouse input. It won't work with any unifying receiver stuff or anything else. The other thing I don't like is that the wheel will not tilt for side scrolling like my trusty M510. It's not a cheap mouse but it works amazingly well. I can't recommend the mouse enough. It's like a wired mouse with no cord drag. Better even because the sensor is just so great. I attached a photo of the G Pro with a small M185 and my M510 daily driver for size reference.

Great mouse, I did find it for cheaper other places, but not at the convenient availability I wanted.

Pros: *easy to set up *easy to use *easy to customize (after the download found at www.logitechG.com/support/pro-wireless) *pretty "breathing" color rotation *comfortable to hold (great shape for hands) *comes with extra side buttons should the need arise Cons: none I enjoy video gaming when the kids have gone to bed for the night and tried the Logictech G Pro on World of Warcraft on our desktop computer. It was smooth. Granted, we have the free version of WOW right now and can only get up to level 20, so not a lot of actions buttons are needed, but the G Pro worked smoothly and the two side buttons I assigned attacks to worked quickly and smoothly, like butter melting on fresh-off-the-grill corn-on-the-cob. This mouse works well on the desktop when I tried it and imagine no problems at all using it with the Chromebox we have connected to our TV, which will be used as the second computer for public homeschooling/virtual schooling during the remainder of the pandemic. (For many reasons, including my extremely high risk mother-in-law living with us, our kids will be public homeschooled/virtual schooled for the remainder of the pandemic. Don't worry, we've been upfront and honest about our reasons with our children and they not only understand but are excited to be learning at home--more outside nature time!) I most definitely recommend the Logitech G PRO Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse with RGB Lighting.

This Logitech G Pro gaming mouse is fantastic for gaming! There is no delay it's lightning fast. I've used this for countless hours of World of Warcraft and Elder Scrolls Online. This mouse is easy to connect and works great for basic office use as well. It's a great mouse and Logitech products usually last several years for my family. It's a solid mouse, would recommend.

Just what I was looking for as a constant gamer

The mouse is great, lightweight, and holds a charge well. Recharging is quick and easy, to the point I'll never buy another mouse that takes batteries again. It's been very reliable over the past few months. My only complaint is the default brightness of the RGB feature is obnoxiously bright, so much so I taped over it. The software LG recommends to control settings and the RGB is horrible. The brightness control is there, however when the mouse goes into sleep mode, it defaults into super speed for the cursor for the first few seconds after you touch it again, before returning to your chosen speed settings. It wasn't worth it to control the RGB and I ultimately uninstalled it. The tape over the LG logo works better, and the mouse itself works perfectly fine without the software.

compared to the superlight or razer comparables the g pro wireless just can't compare anymore

I didn't care for this mouse at all even for daily computer Use. I hate when I have to go online to find the Instructions. I didn't like that I had to have a separate Cord for this mouse and that it needs to be charged. I did like that it comes with extra side buttons so you Can customize it. You need to download 8 updates Off the computer right off the bat. You have to use The computer to manage your DPI profiles. The main Reason I didn't like it and the reason for the 1 star is the Lag time is terrible on this. It's worse than the free mouse That came with my regular keyboard. I can't even use it For surfing the internet. I wouldn't reccomed this mouse For any type of use, gamer or not.
