These speakers are a great addition to your computer setup at home. They sound great in theatre mode and are stylish.

Love the sound and performance the bass hits just right. Can easily get loud and adjust the volume with desk controls! Love it

I tried a couple other systems that barely gave any amplification to the regular built in laptop speakers. There is plenty of treble and bass to give a good full range of sound for anything played through he laptop. These are plenty loud and have good sound quality. Simple hookup and easy to use.

Great sound quality for the price!

When I first heard sound through this system, I was honestly surprised. I was replacing some cheap PC speakers with well, cheap PC speakers. This system greatly exceeded my expectations. It produces far louder, fuller sound than I was really expecting for the price. If you've never had a system with a Sub for your PC before, expect a bit of awesome. For gaming, it's excellent. Really brings a bit of reality to gunfire, explosions and the like. For music it's good. I say good, because it is not perfect. Sounds drop off quickly below 50hz. and highs could be crisper, but that is being really nit-picky for this price range. Dedicated audiophiles may want to spend a little more, but for the majority of people, this system will rock your socks off just fine. Also, don't let the 4" driver in the subwoofer fool you. It produces enough bass to be irritating to others for long durations and it's always on. My one gripe. However, I downloaded an Open Source (i.e. free) Equalizer that lets me change sound profiles with just a click. So I can tone the bass down when I'm not alone and crank it when I am. :)

This is not the picture that was posted origianlly when I bought tue system. The one I wanted had a small control for tue Bass, and this model does not. That being said, if you don't mind loud Bass, then this is a 5 star model. I was beyond impressed on the quality of sound and how the speakers actually work as surrpund sound. Definitely worth every dollar!!!

The "subwoofer" has a two or three inch speaker in it. The left and right speakers blow out easily - become ruined by loud music with deep bass. Only useful for low volume music that does not have strong bass or require loud volume. Unbelievable that the MSRP is $100 for this. Maybe its best use would be listening to talk radio and audiobooks.

During the first use of this product, the green stereo jack broke apart in my hands as I was plugging it in. When I went back to the order page to look for the "return" button, it was not there, although everything else on the order was returnable. At the top of the order, it still says "Return before April 11" but next to the speaker, it says "non-returnable". I regrettably will going back to Amazon for the replacement of this.

The item was received, however this is an obvious returned item With no owners manual, or warranty. Also you could tell it was previously returned due to the way the power cord was just stuffed in the box I would like to return this item and exchange for a NEW ITEM

It's no louder than the factory speakers on my cheap HP Laptop. I have both speaker within 2 foot of my ears and nothing is wrong with my hearing. Complete waste of good money!!!
