Closest to homemade recaito I've tried.
I just want to say that these products are so good im from El salvador living in California I’m a Latina and I love the flavor that taste I just make a ropa vieja and it was so delicious and I can wait to do more recipes so please share some recipes for us
The recaito took me back when mom was alive. She made the best chicken soup with spanish herbs and spices. I will be re-orderding the recaito soon. When will the recaito be in the markets? I have a Wegmans near me and I buy the adobo and sazon. :)
The Sofrito Rojo is a revelation! I know it's latin roots, but it could simply substitute for tomato sauce on pasta, and tastes brighter and more savory than standard tomato sauce. Or one can combine to make the Rojo go further. The Recaito? Bright, herby, can punch up pesto, marinate chicken or herbify a vinaigrette; really great! True cross-over products. I don't think there is anything out there like these three sofritos.
I have bought several bottles of the original sofrito. It’s really upgraded the favor of our vegan food tremendously. Que rico! We just finished the first bottle of the garlic sofrito and also loved that. Haven’t tried the third yet, but I’m pretty confident that we will love that too.
I Enjoy the freshness of the product. Though I am not Spanish/ Latin by a long shot, I enjoy the wonderful recipes that I have made. ( You wouldn't know I wasn't) These are great products and I will be buying from here from now on.
It is so fresh and flavorful. It do not spoil like the store bought kind do. It's good stuff and I am not Spanish/ Latin or anything of that nature. My food taste so good and nobody knows my secret.
I love this trio because I wanted to taste all 3 to compare them and they were so delicious for beans, seasoning meat or as sauce on steak or chicken yummy!
Broken
VERY POOR PACKAGING. BOTTLE WAS DESTROYED AND CONTENTS SPILLED ALL OVER BOX. CAN'T RETURN ITEM SO I CAN'T GET REFUND.
