L'Oreal Paris Couleur Experte Hair Color is a good product, easy to use, The Light Ash Brown was a good color for me. Application was easy, didn't have a strong smell that some hair colors have, coverage was good, and the color didn't fade. I plan to buy this again
I first bought this at CVS for $ 21.99. Then came home and checked WALMARTS price which was $13.97 and bought 2 of them. Then took CVS's back . Nice coloring kit. Easy highlights without paying Beauty Shop prices. I've used this for over 15 years. Sometimes is hard to find so i buy a few when i find them.
Have used L'Oreal Paris Couleur Experte Hair Color with Highlights (Toasted Coconut) numerous times and have always been pleased with the results. Easy to mix and use. Highlights have two types of applicators to choose from to apply - both work well. Great product!
True to the color. Covers gray pretty well. It doesn't last as long as I would like it to on the gray hair. But, over all well. Using the high light part is where it is tricky if you are coloring your own hair. You can get clumps of the lightener in one spot. Wish it was more of a creamy solution. Then a sandy texture. Thing most disappointed about is that my Walmart quit carrying that color. Now I have to hunt it down on the internet.
I started to use this L’Oréal product during Covid when salons closed. I have been so happy with coverage and the lack of damage to my grey hair that I never went back. And let’s be clear- my hair grows 9 inches a year so that’s an full head application about every 2 1/2 weeks. Recently my son got married and I went to have my hair colored professionally. I was over processed during the highlights and resulted in white brittle hair. After lots of tears I put L’Oréal Colour Experte to work and it saved the day. Now I’m dealing with constant breakage from the over processing that the salon did. Does L’Oréal have another miracle product to address that?
This is the second color I've used in the L'Oreal Paris Couleur Experte Hair Color line. Wow, all I can say is WOW! I can't believe all the beautiful highlights and lowlights and great base color. Try it, the color is amazing and looks professionally done for a fraction of the price.
I have been using this product for a couple of years. The colors are beautiful! And nothing could be easier for getting a great natural looking color and gorgeous highlights all in one box! So simple to do with awesome results every time. I get many compliments on my hair and people can't believe it's not from a salon. My only complaint is this product is getting extremely difficult to find.
I had to use this before and the kit is great because it has a highlights. Also, it was different in person than what the color look like on the package when I got it I chose not to use that part, but I use the highlight part that came with it and got a different hair color because I’m normally red naturally. That color would not have worked on my hair. They used to sell a red kit to color your hair with the red and do the highlights which was beautiful. I don’t know why they discontinued it but they need to get it back please Walmart work on that. A lot of people like it and they all ask about it that I know. Even on places like Reddit, they asked where it went.
The color looked great -until I added the highlights, which turned my hair ORANGE on those areas. Bright orange. And I only left it on 5 minutes. I looked like a clown. Had to re-color with another product. But I didn’t have time to do that until AFTER a major family event. Thanks, L’Oreal.
This is a mixed review. The product itself is 5 stars, but the product I received was old. I’ve used this before and I love it, color and highlights in one box, easy to use - but when I received this in the mail, the box was faded and the product looked like it was sitting on a shelf for a while?? It looked very different than the box I had bought in the store. I looked up the upc code online and it was manufactured in 2024! So I returned it. But I still love the product, not the box I received!
