L'Oreal Paris Elvive Glycolic Gloss Shine Enhancing Shampoo, 13.5 fl oz

The first shampoo showed a big difference. It's been a week now and my hair feels gr8. Smooth. Soft. No longer wirey. My hair is salt n pepper 67 yrs old n never conditioned. My hair was always nice n straight. Lately not so much. This shampoo has brought me back to having really nice hair. Smooth n not all wango bango. It smooths the gray wires that made my hair look disgusting n old.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with this shampoo so far. I've got naturally thick, straight fine hair and I've been using it along with the glycolic shine conditioner and the gloss leave in for the past week(so 3X this week). My scalp had been dry and itchy from using too much hot water when shampooing and also blowdrying. My scalp feels moisturized and soothed and my hair is very shiny without being greasy/oily/weighed down.

This line of the L'Oréal shampoo/ conditioner is phenomenal! Truly, the best “drugstore” product on the market today! Shine, volume, smooth, all of it! Plus, it's not COCO scented!

I purchased this off of social media recommendations. It definitely keeps your hair shiny and clean for multiple days. The smell is eh but I think it's bc it's masking the active ingredient. I would repurchase and recommend.

I use this shampoo because it has a lot of suds in your hair without adding but just a little. It smells really good and makes my hair feel clean. Highly recommend!

I wanted to test this release because I enjoy new products, yet the outcome was somewhat disappointing.. It left my hair feeling dry and not truly clean. It could be that it does not suit my hair texture, but that was my experience. I will probably return it.. super unfortunate because the price is excellent and the scent is nice.

If you have any kind of respiratory problems like asthma or if you have allergies,i would not use this shampoo. Its a great brand. Lathers really great, leaves hair incredibly shiney snd silky soft but the frangrance is so overwhelming. I have allergies that get dramatic over everything. I bought this shsmpoo today and as soon as I put some in my hand and sniffed i started wheezing and coughing. I figured there was no way its the shampoo so I finished shampooing, I was wrong. I was in full blown allergy mode. The smell is so powerful it pours out of the bottle and slaps you in the face. but if you can handle an asthma attack while in the shower, youll have the softest silkiest hair of your life,

My hair started falling out in clumps within days of using this for the first time. It also leaves a film on my hair once it dries, assuming that's for the gloss look. Smells great and lathers well but isnt worth the damage it did to my hair after only a few washes.

Unfortunately, I had a very poor experience with this shampoo. The scent, shine, and softness were lovely, HOWEVER it caused severe scalp tingling/irritation, and hair shedding. The in shower application experience was pleasant and seemed to coat my hair well so I had high hopes. While rinsing however, I had a lot of hair fall out from the root, which I found odd since I never have hair shedding issues. I assumed it might just be odd coincidence and continued with the rest of the line, however after continuing on with the rest of the glycolic gloss line (conditioner, and leave in) and letting my hair dry, I started to notice sever scalp tingling about 10-30 minutes after I had finished my hair routine. I can confirm it was the shampoo because I only applied the rest of the glycolic gloss routine to my midlengths and ends. This tingling turned to burning and lasted 2-3 days even after using cold water on my scalp and using my other L'Oreal shampoo line. In conclusion I had high hopes and was very sad that this did not work out. The packaging, scent, and branding are phenomenal and I would love to know a way to make this shampoo work for me! I am a L'Oreal lover in general so please for anyone buying do not be descouraged! Everyone's hair is different. I personally have fine wavy hair and this DID add shine as promised.
