Didn't notice till I saw pictures that the front of my hair from last dye looked red orangish. Someone suggested this ash shade that would tone it down. Had a good conditioning packet that made my hair soft. It fixed my hair and it looks a lot better this shade!
My favorite but it’s hard to find
I have been using the 9-1/2 NP lightest blonde hair color for several years. My hair is light grey with a great blend of blonde and calls for a six week coloring cycle when dullness begins. “Preference” is the only product I’ve used for over 30 years. And, happy to report, so is the 9-1/2 NP natural Blonde kit! By the way, I am a young 77 year old woman… and, young men are always asking me out!! lol:) I also have a pixie hair cut and a small frame which accents me %26 my hair choices. Once again, thanks for the opportunity to share my hair experiences!
This color really last longer than any I've used before. My hair feels great. I have below shoulder hair and there's plenty of color in this box. Its more expensive but worth it! I love this.
I’ve used another brand for way too many years to mention and after feeling like the color just wasn’t there and the change in my hair mid life , I set out to find something better. Here I am. I love the way the color felt while applying, it is hard to explain but it just felt better while applying it to my hair. I didn’t even notice a smell from the solution either. I have shoulder length hair with somewhat thickness and it used to be really close to needing two bottles but with this I had a little left in the bottle. And to the color-I used the same or close to the same I’ve always used with the other brand and let me tell you that it is absolutely more vibrant, my hair feels softer and less frizzy. I am sold.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this hue and vibrant boxed color. It didnt dry my hair out at all and was so easy to use. Gloves are a must, or u will def stain urself...the smell was not horrible like in the past when I've used box hair dyes.
This is a good brand but wow, the color is extremely dark! If u want a dark red then look else where. This is more like a really darker brown with red thru out that shows up in bright light. I am a redhead but wanted to go a bit darker for ha ha’s. Didn’t think it would b this dark. For those who ask why? Redheads as they age their hair lightens. Still…😲😲😲
ive used loreal excellence hair dye in the past without issue. this time i used loreal superior preference in the color 6A (light ash brown). i havent dyed my hair in years so i was dying on virgin hair. my color is a dirty blonde/light brown with alot of golden/brassy tones so my hope with this dye was to be the same or slightly darker color but use the ash to tone down the brass in my hair. This dye literally did nothingggg. If anything it actually lightened my hair or made it appear more brassy. I wasted my money, my time, and caused unnecessary damage to my hair. Will absolutely never purchase from this line again.
I purchased 2 boxes of this dye yesterday. I have used it in the past and loved it. This time, it turned my hair orange!! It’s disgusting to me. I use ash brown specifically because it isn’t supposed to have red undertones.
Added absolutely no color to my hair whatsoever, did not even cover my grays which are pretty white! Am so disappointed, all it added was brassiness and color Faded out immediately! did not even cover my gray roots at all, they stayed whitish Gray. Waste of money %26 Time!
