Great shampoo for grey hair. Keeps it soft and gives it a silver tone without the yellow/grey color. The purple color of the shampoo is a little disturbing at first, but the color of the shampoo does not appear on your hair or discolor anything else it touches. Very nice shampoo--would definitely recommend.

I am new to having gray hair and would recommend this shampoo if your looking for keeping your gray hair looking shiny and healthy.

I'm very been using this shampoo to brighten my grey hair. So far, it's the best I've found.

I VERY rarely bother to leave reviews, no time - but I was stunned by how well this L'oreal professional Silver shampoo worked on my natural grey hair! I finally decided to stop coloring my hair somewhat light blonde when Covid hit, esp. since grey hair was becoming trendy :-) I went crazy trying almost every silver product known to mankind, did a light bleach wash trying to get the natural gray to look ok with the blonde. Now 3 years later, I am ALMOST all natural white - and it is a few inches past my shoulders. I've had some good products for sure, but this shampoo BY ITSELF - did not use the conditioner - made it a lustrous shiny real silver I loved - and I left it on at least 10 minutes. Did it again a few days later too. It got rid of one yellowish streak in one section that nothing had removed before. Many silver coloring products will say you have to use them on recently bleached hair, not natural grey. This product specifically says it is good on natural grey hair - and I believe that is correct. I will probably only use about twice a month, with some purple conditioners every other time I wash my hair, every 2-3 days. Most importantly, it did NOT turn my hair too dark when I left it on quite a while, which was important to me! Recommend anyone trying to get their best silver look to try it!

This shampoo truly changes gray hair color! I started with naturally white hair framing my face and gray-black hair in the back. My hairstylist noticed some yellow tones and suggested I try a purple shampoo. After just one use of L'Oréal Silver Color Balancing Purple Shampoo, my hair shifted from a mix of white, gray, and black to a remarkably even silver shade. I've continued using the shampoo and my hair color keeps evolving. I loved my white hair— I'm regretting losing my beautiful white hair but not the yellow tones.

I don't see any difference and also it's stain your bathtub. If you leave the bottle sitting on the bathtub or in the shower, it leaves purple lines.
