L'Oreal Voluminous Waterproof Volume Building Mascara, Black/Brown [365], 0.28 oz - (Pack of 4)

I never buy those excessively expensive high-end mascaras because basically your drug store ones will do just fine by trial and error. It's not like foundation, primer or concealer where you really need the right base, color, texture...etc. A very good mascara is just black paint to first distinguish your lashes, lengthen them, then separating them, then holding a nice curl without any clumps, and finally adding thickness and volume to them. This mascara for 8$ does ALL of that! L'Oreal's mascaras never disappoint BUT this one is a classic and a staple in my make-up bag! Another one to check out is their 'False Fiber Lashes' and 'Power Volume 24h'. Those 2 that I aforementioned accompanied with this one give you dramatic, bold, black and effortless lashes!

Easy to apply and smooth not flakey

The mascara is good but nothing special. Got the black.

Extremely hard to wash off even though it says it is NOT waterproof.

I usually love this mascara for short eyelashes, was great %26 I was very pleased with how it made my lashes look, that's why I bought it again. This new one I purchased is not the same one, although technically it is. It causes dark smudges on my eye skin where my eyelashes connect to the lid (Never did that before, very wet.) Looks awful, like I used an eye liner %26 was 2 years old putting it on, Geesh! lol Very smudgy! Hardly any lash extension from this mascara, basically just made it look clumpy %26 wet. Plus I use makeup remover cream to take it off, then makeup remover wipes %26 then soap %26 water, and its still on my eyes the next two days %26 this one is suppose to be washable but acts more like waterproof mascara. (I Look like a raccoon every morning after taking it off. lol Will not purchase again! Bring back the old mascara recipe, that one worked perfect!

This has been my favourite mascara for years. But I've noticed it's dry and flaky and gives me no more volume. They changed the formula for sure. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm moving on. This used to be tops but those days are sadly done and I'm really sad about it.

Worst mascara ever. Gooey, globby, clumpy mess

Please go back to the old formula. I've used this mascara for over 25 years. It was my go to, I'd recommend it to everyone. One person asked me if I had false eyelashes on. Then the formula changed and it is awful. I can't wear it. It doesn't add volume anymore and it's really flaky when I remove it and it irritates my eye. I don't know why you'd change the formula of such a popular mascara. It was perfect the way it was. So disappointing.

The original Voluminous mascara was perfect in every way, made my lashes look long and thick, some mascaras only do one or the other, this one always did both. It's the only mascara I've ever used since my teens and I'm 48. I noticed in the last year or so, (maybe two), that it wasn't working the same so I finally started trying others sadly. It clumps up now and dries out quickly. Doesn't separate the lashes or make them look full or long and the texture seems “sticky”. I won't be buying another tube just to throw it away. Whatever you've changed in the formula, you ruined it. Used to the best on the market.

So sad been using this since 1996 and now that the formula changed it's awful. It clumps up and flakes off. Nothing like it use to be. Hope they go back to the original soon!!!!
