LouAna Coconut Oil 100% Pure, 30 Fl Oz

I have been using this coconut oil for quite a while. My baby has eczema and it is a lovely moisturizer for her with no weird ingredients. My teen uses it on a cotton ball to remove her makeup... it removes it instantly with no rubbing, even on waterproof eyeliner!! It is soooo much better than make-up remover pads! I use it on my elbows, hands, and face instead of the name-brand facial moisturizer I used to use for forty bucks per ounce. I do wish it had the coconut smell, but having no smell is great because it doesn't clash with any other fragrance you're using, and my daughter is very sensitive to smells. Walmart's price on this is just fantastic! I tell all my friends how wonderful this coconut oil is!

Since coconut oil has an unlimited shelf life, I basically bought a lifetime supply because you can't find it at this price anywhere else. Delicious for cooking (no, it doesn't smell or taste like coconut), even at the highest temps. Plus, it's a luxurious skin softener -- I use it all over! Sounds like an SNL skit, but it's true!

For the price.....I think its a good coconut oil and would buy again. I use it in my cakes instead of other oils. My cakes always turn out very light and fluffy and taste devine. Also, I put it on fish when broiling it. It gives food a wonderful flavor and is such a nice change from regular oils. Have been very happy with LouAna oils. Thanks to Walmart.com for having this available on line. Great product....which I recommend highly.

I've been using coconut oil for years for many different things such as cooking, hair, skin and mixing it with other oils to produce such things as tooth paste, facial cleaner, house hold cleaners etc. Walmart has the best price that I've been able to find. They sell out so fast and now I find that I have to but it online so I don't run out.

Shocked by what we've learned about the bad effects of vegetable oils on our health, we discovered the miracle of tropical oils. Coconut is the greatest because you can eat it and use it on your skin. Our low carb, high coconut and palm oil diet has done great things for our weight and overall well-being. A wonderful discovery.

Do your research before purchasing this product to ensure you know the difference between coconut oils. I do purchase this product but I also purchase more of the 'extra virgin' coconut oils. About the only thing I use this product for is some lite frying and lite sautéing. For example, frying and/or scrambling eggs. I DON'T eat this on toast nor do I put it in drinks such as coffee. Also know that there is little to no evidence that coconut oils are better for you.

I love this stuff. Bought this is the store in the food section where the oils are but I use it as a beauty product. I use it in the shower after my soap to moisturize my skin. I have dry skin and KP so I always have to use a lotion after I shower and this stuff works so much better than any lotion. Plus it is a wonderful treatment for KP and really keep it in check. After I do dishes I lather some of this on my hands and it keeps them soft much longer than hand lotion. I also use this in my hair especially on the ends or as an overnight treatment and it works wonders. Because I color my hair I feel it needs extra special attention and this replenishes all the moisture and oil that is lost during coloring and other abuse I do to my hair. I think it is especially beneficial to put some on the ends right before I color my hair to protect them. My youngest daughter has super curly, blonde, ethnic looking hair and it works miracles for her hair too. Keeps her hair looking healthy, shiny, and frizz free. I also use this as a makeup remover. It easily revoves waterproof mascara and eyeliner like nothing else. I use to use baby oil but this is so much better and I feel is better for my skin too. It works much better than any product marketed as makeup remover, plus I feel like it not only removes my makeup but moisturizes my skin while doing so. As for cooking with the coconut oil, well I haven't tried that yet, but I will continue buying it just for my health and beauty needs.

I have to take fluid reducer pills and the skin on my arms and legs go so dry from continually being dehydrated. LouAna coconut oil totally alleviates that condition. I tried it on my face and neck too. Makes your skin baby soft with no fragrance. Economical as a little goes a long ways. Used it on my dry lips and cuticles as AZ. Weather is dry. Tried it on my fresh washed hair and what a softness it gave to my coarse hair, PLUS a vibrany shine. Loved this LouAna Coconut oil. Will buy it again and again and wii definitely recommend everyone try it. You will be sold, as I was.

This product can be used to soften hardened skin, lighten dark circles under the eyes, used as a sunscreen....and cook anything u like! It is very very good for you and walmarts' price is awesome!

I use this oil daily as it has been stated that pure coconut oil is a cure for many ailments of which I have many. It's been to soon to say 'it works', but I will say that for me, there have been no side or after effects which is a huge plus. This isn't a product that will hurt you, so what's to loose? So far, absolutely nothing. Go ahead and give LouAna Coconut Oil a try.
