It's a very thick power steering that can slow down most leaks or stop then completely depending on severity worked great for me also made the power steering quiet and smooth

Ive used this many times.Always quiets noisey P/S. Stops most leaks. A wider mouth bottle would make use quicker and less wasteful. Lucas products are pricey

Stuff really works. We have a 2018 STI, and they are notorious for the steering racks leaking and not being able to easily replace the seals. So the dealership wants somewhere in the neighborhood of $2k for parts and labor to swap it. Some creep failed the inspection even though it was only leaking a 1/4 of a quart of steering fluid every 25,000 miles or so. Well I took a turkey baster and pulled out all the remaining steering fluid and replaced it with this Lucas stop leak stuff, and it worked like a charm. Took the car back the next day and they had to pass it bcuz it was no longer leaking. Stuff saved us $2k

Had a leak in the system not sure exactly where but had to add fluid every 2 or 3 days. Since I used 2 bottles of this product I have not needed to add since.

I put this in my 1978 f250 power steering system not to only help stop some seepage but to also help ad some lubricant to make it quieter and man did it really help. It turns smoother and is absurdity quiet now. Great product.

Used this when my power steering started gradually misbehaving, I wrestled my car to Walmart and put this in and did see instantaneous results, but then it started degrading again. Turns out this fixes leaks in the pipes themselves but it does not fix any problems with seals, which is what my car had leaks in. So it may or may not address your specific problem, it was good to test it out with this first though.

You can tell it tightens up your steering and drives better. I could see and feel the difference right off the bat, but my problem appears to be much worse. It still leaks. I knew my power steering was shot to begin with, and after reading the reviews, I thought I would give it a try instead of paying the thousand bucks on a whole new system on a 2001. Im left with the decision of getting another car or pay the money.

It says “gaurenteed”. I know that my leak is coming from the rack and pinion seal at the steering at the steering column of my ‘18 Nissan Titan. After using this product (about 3/4 of a bottle), it initially stopped the leak. It remained that way for about 2wks. Then the leak came back. I used the remainder of the bottle plus another bottle and although the is slower, it still leaks. I have to top off the fluid with about 1.5oz each week.

1/2 bottle leaked out in the bad it was delivered in. spilled all over my carpet when i opened the bag. Walmart would not refund me without a return and product could not be returned without spilling in my car...so absolutely not. it has already ruined my carpet with red oil. customer service was useless.
