started to work almost immediately in my 2004 colorado 3.5 half bottle use, turns out my belt tensioner was bad. How this fluid was able to override that problem is amazing..
item worked as advertised... only got to use half the bottle on first use... leaks has slowed greatly.. apparently has fixed the leak .. i haven't had to add any more.. great product.. easy use
my suv was pouring out power steering fluid and i used this product and it almost completely stopped the leak. went from adding fluid 2x a day to 1x every 2 week's
Our power steering pump is going out in our SUV. It is constantly using up power steering fluid. We bought this to try to use as a temporary fix until we can replace the pump. It has helped quite a bit, for just a temporary fix.
Works as advertised in my 2007 subaru outback. So far has prevented a complete powered steering system changing.
it works had a good leak in my rack n pinion and it sealed it up to a slow leak then it slowed it to a very slow leak went from adding fluid every 2 days to adding every few weeks. did take a few treatments because it was such a big leak
What more can you say about power steering fluid? it worked, and it worked on an audi. i would use it again.
I had a small leak in what appeared to be a seal on my older car. This product has greatly slowed the leak at least for a time.8
Guaranteed to stop my power steering leak. Tried it 3 different times and the leak in my power steering system never stopped it even slowed down. It might actually have gotten worse. so the guarantee was worthless to he.
This product would be great if you didnt have a leak in your power steering system. I syphoned out the old power steering fluid out of my 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue and poured this stuff in it because I had a leak and was having to put about one half bottle of power steering fluid in the resivor per week. I figured for 9 bucks id try this because its called Bar LEAKS power steering repair. Before I used this my power steering was okay as long as it had fluid in it. When it got low it would do the normal screeching and grinding when trying to turn the wheel hard especally at a low rate of speed. With this it did help better than regular power steering fluid with the handiling and smoothness of the turns however it leaked just as fast as regular power steering fluid I can pick up at the gas station by me for 2 bucks. I would reccommend this to anyone who wants to just smoothen out their power steering system but not if they think this is gonna stop a leak. If you wanna stop a leak buy Lucas power steering leak fix. I bought two bottles of that ($10 a bottle) and so far it has worked much better. The Lucas oil does have a much thicker consistency (like thick maple syrup at 20 degrees) than the Bar Leaks power steering fluid which may be why my power steering leak seems to have stopped or at least slowed for now. Its also better to go with Lucas power steering fix for a leak because they will totally refund your money (tax too) if it doesnt 100 percent stop your leak for up to 2 bottles.
