Lucky Leaf Lite Apple Fruit Filling & Topping 20 oz. Can

Lucky Leaf Lite Apple Pie Filling is the best commercial apple pie filling I've ever tried, at any price. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to locate it in any of the Walmart stores I've searched. This and their Cherry Pie Lite Pie Filling are outstanding. They have that fresh fruit taste that is closest to homemade. I've used both of them in pies, tarts, cakes, donuts, etc. Go online and find a good recipe for "Apple Fritters" Instead of fresh apples, cut these apples into smaller chunks and use the filling. TASTY!! Sometimes I place a mail order just so I can get some extra cans of these. Oh yeah, my sister and I are both diabetics and this, as well as their Cherry filling are low sugar and extremely low calorie. These are larger slices of apples, so if making apple pie I leave as is, but if using for most recipes, I chop each slice into 3 or 4 pieces. Wish I could think of something bad to say, but it even has a pull off lid. If only every can had those. I highly recommend this product. You won't be sorry.

Really like the convenience of having a Lite Apple Fruit Filling and Topping. I eat some as a dessert since it is low in calories and it fits my fruit requirement for the day, use it as a topping for pancakes or french toast or even sugar free pudding.

love it - It can be used in recipes but I eat it right out of the can to satisfy my sweet tooth

This is the best tasting, lowest sugar pie filling i can find. walmart has to deliver it as it is not readily available in store. so have to order ahead of time. great taste and worth it!!

Although this delicious filling isnt available in store, I am thrilled I found it through delivery only......nice to bake traditional family comfort pie....especially these days!

Quite frankly, I wasn't expecting such a great product. Like another reviewer said, it has wonderful taste and big chunks of apples with body to them. The apples have not been overcooked to mush. I made pork chops with the apples under it, then put mounds of stuffing on top and baked them in the oven. Fantastic!

FULL can of apples, not heavily spiced, makes good applecrisp or just eat them from the can if you can't cook...

BEST REDUCED APPLE PIE FILLING EVER. TASTES LIKE REGULAR APPLE PIE FILLING WITH LESS CALORIES AND SUGAR.
