I use this to make pie crust and biscuits. I try to keep dairy out of things like that as much as possible because we have a family member with sensitivity. This compares favorably with butter for results. I have made a lot of biscuits and pie crust, and I don't hesitate to substitute this for butter.
Love the convenience of the sticks. Work perfect for recipes. Add that extra something special taste to all my baking recipes. Also, measurements are on the stick wrapper which makes measuring so convenient. They also include a lid to cover any unused portion.
I have made every oatmeal raisin cookies and always felt like something was missing. I changed from oil to butter to Crisco butter flavored and bam, that was it. Everyone raves over my cookies now. Definitely try this is you like to make homemade cookies.
The convenience factor is a major factor in purchasing shortening in a pre-measured stick that you can "cut like butter". I truly HATE measuring shortening for a recipe in my measuring cups because it's easy to get an undesirable air pocket or you leave a fair amount of product behind as you scrape it out of the measuring cup. Then there's the extra effort to clean up the measuring cup so that you get rid of all of the shortening. Love...Love...Love It!!!!
I use this when making Toll House chocolate chip cookies. It makes the cookies less flat and perfect. I make 9 giant cookies per batch. I also use only pure cane sugar and pure cane brown sugar. This all makes for a great cookie. I also use this for greasing my bread pans and when shaping hot rolls.
I use this Crisco with butter strictly for making my pies, and have been using it for many years. I have never had any problems and my crust always comes out just right!! Formerly I used the plain crisco but when the butter sticks came out I switched to them, and never regretted it. I store them in a plastic container and they last a long time when I'm in between baking!
It's not that bad but they have another one that sweetened their brand have the price it taste better in the microwave, they're OK but they're better if you put them in the oven and with their sauce, I didn't get my sauce delivered to me. I don't know if they took it off or what or maybe it wasn't snapped because the guy from marketplace rugby in the microwave, they're OK but they're better if you put them in the oven and with their sauce, I didn't get my sauce delivered to me. I don't know if they took it off or what or maybe it wasn't snapped because the guy from marketplace raybee direct furniture. direct furniture. Entered my account and said I bought two beds and I didn't so for Christmas. I got nothing for no one and I can't say anything I get to lay in my bed 24 seven and I've never had a new couch so that was my Christmas, but I do have God it's gonna be fine. I wish everybody a merry Christmas and happy New Year's and don't put any of your cards on here. The best subs in Michigan why I go to Subway when you have.
My use for this product is for baking! I love how the butter flavor oil keeps my treats moist. Also I use just a little oil for coating the skillet for stir frying!
I love this product because of the flavor that it adds to my cakes, and also I love the packaging that has measurements which makes it much easier for me.
Even with rinsing the product off before cooking was so SALTY WE HAD TO THROW MEAtT OUT😡 Will never purchase another product again after this happened! No meat from Wal Mart
