Well, Walmart wants me to review Karo Syrup. My wife put it on the shopping list. I went to Walmart and among other things, got the Karo Syrup. Brought it home, she used it to cook or bake something ... It must have been okay or I would have heard about it.

We made homemade caramel using this product. The recipe was so simple. I did not know I had purchased the vanilla-flavored one, but I am happy I did. I forgot to add the vanilla extract that the recipe called for. Didn't need it! So it worked out pretty well. It was delicious. Sweetness and consistency were perfect. Only required 1 cup per batch, so I was able to make a couple with one bottle.

As a kid I loved this stuff as an alternative from pancake syrup or honey as a kid on my pancakes. Now days most pancake syrups are artificially flavored, or made mostly from corn syrup anyway. It turns out contrary to fad diets, corn products are good for you, & corn syrup is better for you than plain sugar. Those fake modern pancake syrups are either too expensive or taste bad. Real maple syrup & honey is expensive too. So I recently gave this stuff a try again. Wow, I still love it on my pancakes. It also tastes good in my coffee. I mix it into my peanut butter too... YUMMY!!!

I'm not a fan of maple syrup, but I'm in love with Karo light corn syrup! This is my favorite syrup! It's sweet and yummy on pancakes!

I couldn't use it, it came open, the seal was broken. I noticed until today when I was going to make a pecan pie and when I unscrew the cap I found the seal broken.

Item had sticky substance all over syrup bottle. It appears as if another bottle, or something else, spilled on it. I will not use this product because of the condition of the bottle and I cannot be positive about the product itself. (All of the bumps and brown spots you see are on the outside of the bottle.)

The cap was tilted when I opened it. This was from the seal being broken. There is also a dent on the side of the bottle.
