McCormick All Natural Pure Vanilla Extract, Real Vanilla Extract for Baking, 2.0 fl oz Box

Pure Vanilla When this arrived I was thrilled. I had been out of the “good” vanilla for several months, and hadn’t remembered to get it. Since we had used the imitation vanilla for a few months it really made a BIG difference in taste. So this was a perfect way to check out the difference. I have used McCormick products for approx. 47 years, I started baking when I was young, and they are always the best. For a kicker we used the recipe on the back of the box and added the white chocolate chips, and used chunks instead of chips for the choc chips. They were so yummy. Our Grandson made them and there were very little left when Grandpa got home. His Mom loved them and so did the rest of the grandkids. It may cost a little more and seem like you shouldn’t, the imitation is fairly cheap. But you will taste the difference, and its nice to know your using the best. To offset the cost a bit Wal-mart does carry the 16 oz. version and its less than double the 2 oz price (at least in our region). I will be picking up a couple of the 16 oz versions very soon. Its well worth the price for the quality. Not only good for baking, and drinks, and things like that, but you can add it to cereals like oatmeal, malt-o-meal etc, Most wont remember but Granny from “Hillbillies” wore it as perfume, and it does smell good. I also use it on a piece of ribbon tied to my fan, for air freshener.

I normally buy vanilla extract from a local lady that grow and sell her own. When I ran out of vanilla extract, McCorrmick is the only brand that I trust. Taste great and you would need this if you're bake every week like me. I have been using the same kind for years and the quality has been the same.

I LIKE SCHILLING PURE EXTRACT VANILLA VERY MUCH. I HAVE TRIED THE IMITATION VANILLA BECAUSE OF PRICE, BUT IT IS NOT AS GOOD. THE PURE VANILLA EXTRACT DOES NOT HAVE A SMELL OF ALCOHOL TO IT. I DO QUITE A BIT OF BAKING AND WILL SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY ON SCHILLING VANILLA EXTRACT. THE TASTE OF THE BAKED GOODS COMES OUT MUCH BETTER. YOU DON'T HAVE TO USE AS MUCH OF THE REAL VANILLA EXTRACT TO GET THE TASTE IN YOUR BAKE GOODS. IT IS THE ONLY VANILLA EXTRACT FOR ME. COST WISE I THINK IT COMES OUT AS CHEAP AS THE IMITATION BECAUSE YOU USE LESS OF IT TO GET THE SAME FLAVOR IN YOUR FOOD. I AM A VERY FUSSY BAKER.

Pure Vanilla: Premium 100% Pure Extract, 2 oz McCormick Pure Vanilla. I love Vanilla , especially McCormick's brand. I use it to make my homemade fudge , and also I put a couple teaspoons in a small pan of water on the stove , put on very low. Makes your house smell like your baking something good , when your not. :) The taste is awesome , makes everything that you add vanilla too , taste so much better.

I never bought this brand cause it's always expensive, but I can say it's worth every penny! I make banana bread a lot and could tell it made such a difference and tasted SO GOOD! Same with the chocolate chip cookies I made! I make them for neighbors and even they noticed the difference in taste but in a good way!!

I was sent this product for free in exchange for a review. It will definitely be a staple in my kitchen for baking. It has a rich, authentic vanilla flavor that adds a noticeable difference to baked goods without being overpowering. I've used it in cookies and muffins and both have turned out delicious. I can tell a huge difference between this and the generic vanilla extract from the store. A little goes a long way, and I love that it gives my baked goods that warm, homemade vanilla flavor.

I really loved this vanilla. My favorite thing to do with it is to use it in my coffee so I can cut out a lot of sugar. The flavor is really good. I will be buying this trusted brand from now on for my vanilla. I can't wait to try it in my overnight oats.

I've been using McCormick Vanilla Extract for over 10 years, and to this day it still doesn't disappoint. I've tried other vanilla extracts, but anytime I run out, I always find myself reaching for the same one. I use it for pretty much any recipe that calls for vanilla extract. I even add it to my overnight oats and smoothies. I love that it's versatile, tastes great, and is something I always like to have in my kitchen.

Lower than expected packaging quality. I realize packaging doesn't necessarily affect the product but McCormick is a name brand trusted by millions. My last bottle had a crooked label and new bottle shape. When packaging standards start to fall, how soon til it product standards start to fall? Do better McCormick.

I've loved baking since I was a young girl, and I've always turned to McCormick Pure Vanilla Extract when I need a touch of something special. Sure enough, this traditional standby hasn't changed at all over the years. I still love using it in all my baked goods, and the quality has stood the test of time.
