This is my favorite chocolate. I use it all the time. I put it in the blender with some frozen bananas and a touch of any kind of milk. Makes a delicious shake with no refined sugars. Great for desert. In the winter I use it for baking and hot cocoa.

This Cocoa Powder is similar to other cocoa powders in texture, but as for as taste, the Premium Baking Cocoa Powder is noticeably richer in flavor, as it has a more robust chocolate flavor and aroma you would expect in a chocolate bar. It makes the some of the most Devine Hot Cocoa, as it offers a soothing flavor and chocolate essence. The bag reseals very nicely, and is easy to open. The cocoa powder mixes easily into liquids, and it isn't very gritty. I've made so many hot cocoa beverages with this cocoa powder, and when I want a richer chocolate experience, I would opt for the Premium Cocoa, truly a delight to have on hand. Great! Dissolves well. Tasty. Has the least amount of Cadmium according to studies -- which makes it better for your health. I threw out a large bag of another brand because its cadmium level is so high. The measurement of, and comparison with, cadmium levels is reported on the ConsumerLab website.

I'll never go back to the most popular name brand cocoa. this is the best chocolate I have ever tasted. I haven't actually used it to make a hot cocoa drink. but I've used it in chocolate cream pie, and chocolate cake. The chocolate flavor is complex and full-bodied, like I always wanted a good quality cocoa to taste like.

I have reports that chefs prefer Ghirardelli chocolate and chocolate chips for baking. And I agree. After years of using Hershey's cocoa for my candy making, I tried the Ghirardelli premium baking cocoa. I was surprised at the very real and rich difference it made. It will be my go-to from now on!

I think that is cocoa is a great item for the price. It has a deep rich chocolate flavor - I have been using this to make hot chocolate and cold shakes for several years. I prefer this brand to the other major brands. To me, it has a richer flavor.

Best cocoa powder ever. Don't try it, or you won't ever be able to use anything else for the rest of your life. Blows Hershey and Toll House out of the water!

Better flavor than the hershey’s cocoa thats changed in recent years. Just wish they’d put this in a better container as when closing it’s hard to prevent the air in the package from allowing chocolate powder to puff into my face!! Please consider another way to package this item!

I was really disappointed with this, it's very gritty and doesn't work for hot cocoa or mixed with coffee. It might be OK for baking but I like to add it to my coffee and it's not right for that.
