Great Value Pure Vanilla Extract, 2 fl oz

This is exactly like McCormick ( it probably IS McCormick with a different label, companies do this). The extract has the same quality, taste everything except you pay less. Thank Great Value.

Great value Pure vanilla extract 2 oz was a good price and taste the same as the McCormick’s brand at a better value. I don’t always buy a cheaper brand but when there is no difference in the taste, I definitely try because the price of everything has skyrocketed! Recommend!

I used to always go cheap and buy the imitation stuff. This time I wanted to compare so I got the 2 oz size. A sniff test revealed a more pure vanilla aroma without the cardboard element. I used this vanilla to flavor my whipped cream charger mix, along with GV corn syrup and GV heavy cream. Best ever!!

Once I switched from imitation vanilla to pure vanilla extract, I never looked back. There really is a difference in the flavor, especially in baked goods, and for me it's absolutely worth using the real thing. I actually enjoy making my own vanilla extract and have even given bottles away as holiday gifts over the years. The only catch is that my homemade version takes about a full year to develop, so when I run out, I need something I can rely on in the meantime. This Great Value Pure Vanilla Extract has been an excellent substitute. I honestly can't tell a difference in flavor or quality compared to the more expensive brands, so I don't see much reason to spend extra. If you're looking for a quality pure vanilla extract without paying a premium price, this one has earned a permanent spot in my baking cabinet. It lets me save my homemade vanilla for gifts, or until my next batch is finally ready! 😄

There is no reason to pay more money for the same quality product. This original vanilla flavoring, not an imitation is a great choice for your baking or cooking needs. I and my wife have tried the imitation vanillas, and they taste like it and the money you've spent is wasted. Not on this pure vanilla extract. If you want to save money and get aa high-quality product then select this pure vanilla extract.

True pure vanilla extract is without comparison. The vanilla taste is exceptional! The only difference between this and the brand name is the cost - why spend your money that way!?

The Great Value Pure Vanilla Extract is exceptional. I bake constantly and have always used expensive vanilla extract from various manufacturers. I gave this vanilla a try once, was impressed, and keep two bottles on-hand at all times now. I also use it on my coffee grounds before starting the coffee maker, and it works perfectly to flavor my coffee without tasting artificial, such as the pre-flavored coffee %26 coffee-beans taste. In my baking, it mixes well, and works as good as some of the other pricey vanilla extracts. I would recommend using this rather than an imitation vanilla if you are looking to be cost-effective. In what I would call every-day applications, this is all you need for vanilla extract. Hope you have as much success as I have had with it! Happy Baking!!!

It is just fine given the much lower price in comparison with other brands. Obviously, as with most other pure vanilla brands, source may be be from the best which cost three or more more. But the pure vanilla taste is sufficient when incorporating into foods with other cooking ingredients.

I am used to the nestle brand, and thought what is the dollar difference, a lot!! Chocolate Shell easily broken and too sweet! Vanilla ice cream is okay enough, the chocolate center tastes like coffee., or burnt chocolate, Skipping the generic version or great value on this one!

This is easily the worst vanilla extract I have ever used or tasted. It is 41% (82 proof) alcohol! There is very little vanilla flavor. Total waste of money! Don't ruin whatever recipe you're making by using this in it
