McCormick Pure Vanilla Extract, 2.0 fl oz Box

Baking season just wouldn't be as tasty without McCormick Pure Vanilla extract. It adds that special mmmm to so manyof my homemade items, like cookies, pancakes, muffins, frostings, and cakes. It's one of many McCormick products I always have in my pantry. I trust the quality, consistent flavor, and the value for my money.

I was so glad to get a new bottle of vanilla. I had an old bottle of vanilla and I learned a valuable lesson. I had made a dessert using the old. After it baked I was serving it at a luncheon. The dessert tasted like I had put vinegar in it. Since I had made two deserts the same except one was old vanilla and the other was new I was able to ascertain what went wrong. The new vanilla in the dessert was great. No so with the old. The morale of the story is get rid of you old past the expiration date vanilla it leaves a bad vinegar taste.

So, I usually buy the store brand because it's cheaper but had to get the name brand because they didn't have the store brand and I needed vanilla. I thought, oh, there's no difference in flavor.... Boy, was I MISTAKEN! I haven't been able to go back to store brand vanilla since then! I know it's more expensive, but if you want a REAL vanilla flavor, you should go with this one! :-)

I normally buy vanilla extract from a local lady that grow and sell her own. When I ran out of vanilla extract, McCorrmick is the only brand that I trust. Taste great and you would need this if you're bake every week like me. I have been using the same kind for years and the quality has been the same.

I am very pleased at how the young man knocked on my door hard enough, I have a ten dollar tip I wanted to hand him but he rushed away. please add ten dollars for him.

McCormick pure vanilla extract will always have a place in my spice rack. I add this to banana pudding, banana bread, etc. I prefer the 2 oz. size, since it lasts longer. It's always fresh and delicious.

The vanilla extract itself is really good and works well for baking. It has a nice classic vanilla flavor and you can tell it's a quality product. My only complaint is the price — I do feel like it's a little overly expensive for the size. Still a good product overall, just not always the best value.

Switched back to pure vanilla… As this has no additives or artificial ingredients. Vanilla has become so expensive now, so less is more. A few drops in your coffee in the morning smooth out of the taste. Tossing out the old stuff.

It came in a plastic bottle!! Real vanilla in a PLASTIC bottle! I remember when I was young my grandmother always bought McCormick Pure Vanilla and it was packaged in a glass bottle. I would have never bought this if I'd known it was in a plastic bottle.

We bought several bottles of different flavorings by McCormick. All of them smelled perfect, except for the Vanilla. We have no idea what happened to that bottle, but it smelled rancid. It had a very sharp odor that was strange. It wasn't worth going thru the hassle of returning it, so we threw it out and bought another brand of vanilla. That bottle arrived, and smelled wonderful, the perfect vanilla.
