Great chocolate
Baker's chocolate whatever flavor is wonderful. It has always been a part of the holidays in our house. It melts beautifully in the German chocolate cake recipe that is on their box. It has a very sweet taste and smooth texture.

Bakers German Chocolate is the best to make German Chocolate cake. Unfortunately it's not carried in most grocery stores these days so it has to be ordered online and cost is more.

haven't baked yet
I have not used the chocolate so I couldnt give a complete review. However the point is that this brand Baker's German Sweet Chocolate for baking is getting difficult to find and that Walmart has it at a good price was something I could not pass up. I am stocked up for now for my favorite brownie recipe that was originally found on the wrapper of ....yup, Baker's German Sweet Chocolate.

Good but expensive
I had been buying the store brand and I probably still would have had it been available, this was all that was available in my store when I needed it for a recipe, anyway as always since the 1970s, this is probably the best because of the brand, but I don't know that I would buy it again because of the cost.

SO OLD!!! Should have been thrown out, garbage
Ordered German Chocolate from this seller (since it wasn't available at my local store) and what I got was SO old! It was a chalky white all around what should normally be a fairly dark chocolate. Also, the product was super crumbly and dry because it was so old. It should be a softer and creamier chocolate, not chalky. It was SOOOO OLD! Unacceptable.
