It has been hard to find Butterscotch chips, but I found these at Walmart and they are great. I bake a lot of cookies for my grandson, and I used them in his favorite oatmeal cookies and they were yummy. They melt well and taste really good. They are a bit more expensive than the chocolate ones but every bit as good.
Butterscotch baking chips are absolutely delicious! I use them to make my grandmother‘s family recipe for butterscotch brownies, and they are absolutely amazing. I've always use this brand because I can always depend on it having the same quality, taste, and value. You can't go wrong with these.
Made oatmeal Scottie's for years my family favorite cookies This is the only butterscotch that taste great
I made oatmeal cookies and added butterscotch chips instead of raisins and a little extra brown sugar, everyone loved them. These tasted just like i remembered, just like butterscotch, they didn't lose shape while baking either but weren't hard.
I would not eat them as a snack but, they are excellent in Toll House cookies instead of chocolate chips. The problem is that once you start eating them, its very difficult to stop.
These chips were fresh, and had a good sell by date. I used them to make Oatmeal Scotchie Bars, and they were delicious. With three cups of oatmeal, I felt like they made a nutritious snack and even good as breakfast bars!
I was surprised to see this flavor combo and excited to try it in my yogurt. I am not a fan of the flavor of the chips, especially the peanut butter one. Nor do I like the size of the chips, they are smaller than the dark chocolate chips I usually get.
It says clearly not to leave the package outside, but the delivery guy just left it outside of the building of Los Angeles downtown.
The chips were contaminated. There was something brown and crunchy in them. I found it immediately after opening. I doubt that it was rotten. It looked like it might have been from cookies that got mixed in during processing.
