Duncan Hines Classic White Cake Mix, 15.25 oz.

Duncan Hines Cake Mixes have been around for a very long time. My Grandmother would never have admitted this, but she often used a ‘box cake.’ I love white cake with white frosting - Duncan Hines sells them both, and they are moist and delicious! Recommend!

I ONLY use Duncan Hines cake mixes! The white cake mix is so versatile. I make sweet rolls w/it People go crazy for them and it's so easy. It never fails me!!

Love to use this as a base for adding dried fruit and extract to match. Raspberry, cherry, mixed frozen berries. They all make a great cake that's festive with little effort!

The box calls for 3 egg whites. since LARGE eggs are hard to figure I use 4 EGG WHITES. This makes the texture after blending for 1 minute and beating for 2 or 2 1/2 minutes very light and fluffy, tasty and similar to angel food cake but better! Make these cupcakes for all my grandkids birthdays, no frosting (too messy for little ones) just bright colored papers! Between birthdays one grandchild begs me to make for his "UN-Birthday", Grandma has to do it!

Good base cake mix for tres leches in a pinch. Prepare the mix with milk instead of water, 4 eggs, and butter instead of oil. Bake 30 mins at 350. Meanwhile mix 1 cup whole milk with a can of evaporated milk and a can of sweetened condensed milk, splash of vanilla and pinch of cinnamon if desired. Cool cake poke holes pour on milk mixture. Whip heavy cream for topping.

I purchased 2 boxes of the classic white cake mix and used exact ingredients . When I mixed up the batter it started rising in the bowl which was weird! I use this mix all the time and have been very pleased with it. I have wasted 6 eggs, cup of oil and my time and very disappointed! Something is definitely wrong with this mix! Lot # 42665300210735 Exp. 10/2026! You definitely need to do a recall on this batch!

I’m really disappointed with this Duncan Hines Classic White Cake Mix. I followed the directions exactly and baked it in a 13×9 pan at 350°F for 28 minutes, then let it sit in the oven for another 15 minutes like the box says. Even after all that time, the cake was still not fully cooked. The center sank in and was raw. I expected much better results from a brand I usually trust, especially when following the instructions so closely.

Has something changed on the cake formula in the white cake mix? I followed directions for a two layer cake but the cake baked shorter than usual. I'm guessing you want me to buy more cake mix to compensate so it will be a taller cake. Did you put less ingredients in your cake mix?

Not a review on the product (DH Cake Mix is always a good go-to). Curbside pick-up order - both boxes in my order were all smashed up… Hoping that the bagged contents are still sealed… and good to use. This is now the second curb-side order where either things were billed and missing or damaged. I live in a different town and do not want to deal with a return… but maybe this will help solve the problem. Feedback on the actual order menu seems to go nowhere…
