Checking my soil for PH
This is pretty easy test to use. I had to read the instructions over a few times to make sure I was doing it correctly, but the results were easy to understand.

Easy to use this at home test.
I liked the fact that this is an easy to use at home test instead of sending out soil samples to a lab and waiting for results. I have soil that is largely clay. When I mix the soil with water I had to wait a day so that the clay settled at the bottom in order to get a somewhat clear water sample.

The orange test was the only one that worked. The blue and purple ones did not show any of that nutrient in any of my samples. Finally, I tested on straight Fish fertilizer that has NPK of 5 1 1. the Nitrogen test indicated there wasn't any Nitrogen.
