Luxite 14" Jiffy Knit Needles

I usually knit with MUCH smaller needles. These were hard to get used to (they are about the width of a broom stick) I had to figure out how to sit so that I could hold the needles to effectively knit. BUT once I figured out how to prop it (on the couch side or my knees) then I was able to quickly knit a 3x5 blanket in about 6 hours :)

These needles and several other pair arrived within a few days of ordering. They are of good quality and at an excellent price (as compared to other on-line services). I would order from them again. I recommend these for making "broomstick lace", which I make, often.

I have been looking for these large knitting needles for some time. Never thought of WalMart would have them but they did. And to make it a very good deal they were priced very reasonable. Compaired to from $25..00 to low price of over $10.00 I was able to get these and even the shipping was cheaper. Thank you Wal Mart for letting me finally start my afgan done on size 50 needles. I purchased these needles for broomstick lace, but also intend to do some quick scarves for gifts that have an open weave look to them. These were size 50!!! About the size of a broom handle. I was worried they'd be too cumbersome, but they worked great.

I hate the colors these are with a passion, but I do broomstick lace and this size is almost impossible to find for less than an arm and a leg. They are pretty solid and the color makes them hard to lose in your needle stash.
