I was worried the controller set wouldn't work because of some reviews. Still I ordered it and gave it a chance. It does what it's supposed to so far. It didn't come with any instructions, but I was able to figure out how to connect the controller through Wii U control settings. AA batteries not included.

This unfortunately didn't work for me. They paired with my Wii one time and then after that never worked again, even after following the same pairing instructions. I have an OG Wii and not a Wii U, so it could be that. The one time it worked, it was great though. Thankfully Walmart made the return relatively easy. I will say if you choose “return in store” for an item that was shipped, make sure you have the original shipping box because my local Walmart wouldn't accept it. I had to change my return method to courier pickup.

Honestly I was extremely excited to have colored controllers, but I have never experienced controllers that have connection issues like these. These controllers will not work unless bringing up the wii menu (with another controller) and clicking reconnect, along with that half of the time they will not connect, you spend about 3 minutes trying to connect them. The worst part is, they do not stay connected if you insert or eject a disc, especially if it is a new game. Also, the moment the controllers sleep you know you have to go threw that whole process of the wii menu again. For the price of these controllers, I wouldnt recommend. I own an original Wii Motion Plus controller that I have never experienced issues with. It can be disconnected for a week and you can click the A button and it wakes up and is immediately connected and functional.

Absolutely do not work. Fresh batteries, the remotes turn off constantly, never stay connected. Dont waste your money.
