Works excellent. You must know if you are using any appliance over 150 watts you need to connect directly to the battery and you cant use the 12volt plug. For small items like tv, fan, or light, the cigarette lighter adapter works fine
This replaced a physically larger inverter with the same 1000w continuous power rating. I needed a quick replacement and this was low cost so I grabbed it thinking this will buy me time to find a legitimate replacement but this little giant has been amazing so far. Sine wave output looks good on a scope and the unit does everything the old larger and much more expensive unit did only better. With the same overnight load on the inverter the minimum battery voltage in the morning is consistantly higher than it was with the old inverter. The only reason for this has to be more efficiency by this inverter. I am really amazed after 1 week of 24 hour use. Only thing I don't know is durability but at this cost it becomes as much about the math. If I get 1/2 the lifetime at 1/5 the cost I think it's a winner but as efficient as this little thing is it's giving me advantages I never expected. Would I buy another one? I already have.
Connected it up and everything worked fine. The waveform is good and stable. It powers a refrigerator and a small inverter microwave. The key to inverters is never ever use them within 70% of their raised value. Even though they'll work for awhile the heat buildup will seriously shorten the life of the inverter. I also used 2/0 wire
This is the perfect compact size 500 watt pure sign wave power inverter I have mine hooked to a 50ah lifepo4 battery, a small solar panel %26 cheap little charge controller. The unit comes with a cigarette lighter plug %26 battery cables I use it for lights, battery chargers %26 power tools in my off grid garage works great %26 has a built in cooling fan on a thermostat I haven't heard the fan kick on yet. Lowest price around here on Walmart com
This item fits the description. Price was insanely good for the quality. Works great for what I need it for. It's Small, compact, and easy to install into any average size electrical box. Fan works good and responsive to load. Stress tested the inverter near its max @900watts for ten minutes and this inverter didn't have a problem at all with just a little bit of heat on the shell. This inverter fits into my project better than planned. Love it!!
It was a steal so I had to snag it. I was getting some stuff setup for camping and 24v was my best bet for my car fridge so I stayed with that plan. I'm using my old ebike batteries for power. Most are 36v or 48v so I need a convertor and nothing gets hot like it would going down to 12v. Awesome Sweet Deal!!!
Well so far this 1000w inverter seams fine. I won't be pulling more than 500w at any given time anyway. so far so good !
The inverter worked great when it did work. I liked it for the price and came with terminal clamps. I had planned to use while camping with family for bug zapper, air pumps, or a coffee maker. I got to use it with the first two but not the coffee maker. The problem is that it has no surge protection, an external replaceable fuse, or polarity detection in case the clamps were accidentally reversed to protect it. It was reversed once accidentally and was dead, even though the device was switched off and nothing was plugged into the device. So it was good while it worked, but polarity detection should be added. I've seen it in plenty others.
It never came. Please get a shipper that will actually answer calls with a real person. Fedex refused to get anyone who could help and then hung up on me. They stink.
