I ended up ordering the LVYUAN Portable voltage transformer after researching other “contenders” for my money. LVYUAN met the requirements I was looking for in the portable power adapter. My requirements for power adapter/converter were simple-Convert from 110V to 220V,Have multiple socket adapters so that way I can use the product for different situations/countries.Must be travel size, it works great for my appliance, and easy to take away,and so great for travel abroad,and I found they have one bigger and two smaller voltage transformers,you can choose the suitable one,I will buy from LVYUAN again.

This worked the way it was supposed to. My parents from India had gotten a medical equipment and that needed a change in voltage to be used in the US. This transformer worked perfectly fine and stepped up the US voltage to Indian device specifications. I did not try the step down function, as you won’t need that in US. It’s a bit heavy though, not really easy to carry around, but if you are traveling via a car to some place, then it can easily fit anywhere.

I made an extensive search for a converter to take overseas (Egypt), so I can run an 1800W air fryer. I purchased 5000W converter to have good safety margin. I read good reviews about Lvyuan warranty, and how they respect it. I actually contacted them prior to purchase, and they responded well. I have used the converter for 1 week so far, and no complains so far. It’s quite. It does not extensively heat up. I hope it will last.

I purchased this unit to run a 645w LED grow light. I ran into the issue of the converter tripping the circuit because it overheated after 4hrs running. I like the safety feature. It gives me the comfort of knowing the unit will cut off before it catches fire. I fixed the problem by keeping a fan cooling it continuously. So, it does the job but have a fan ready to cool it off.

I just stopped working randomly after 1 year of use.
